The sign of a great thinker, is someone, who doesn't look at the obvious, or the black and white, and they learn to take in the whole big picture.  Now the Donald, got your endorsement, yesterday at the NRA convention in Kentucky, and claims that, Hillary is the worst thing to happen for the second amendment, then he takes a clip about, Hillary and a statement, about the U.S. Supreme Court, getting some decision wrong, which, we, as voters, are not given, the whole story.  But, Donald, you yourselves are showing your ignorance, of government . . . a president can, be 100% for gun control, and 100% against, the second amendment and gun ownership, but I heard Hillary speak, during her last campaign, I believe, who very much has my stance, as a constitutional law attorney, saying that what works for guns in New York, doesn't work in rural upstate New York.  She went on to say, what works in New York, doesn't work in Montana! So, she gets it, that yes, while we have the second amendment, but the states, and their individual legislatures, are the ones, who have the duty and responsibility to protect the health, safety and welfare of their citizens, taking into consideration the make up of the state, with guns in the cities, being outlawed by ordinance, in most Montana cities, or I know, that Missoula, Montana, just struggled with that . . . guns going off in the city limits, is a crime!  Now, in more rural areas, people, have open carry rights, in Montana.

After Sandy Hook, crazed shooter, killed, what 21 kids and several teachers, both New York and Illinois, pushed through, break neck legislation, city ordinances, to control guns, while other states had the exact opposite reaction, and they passed very liberal gun carry legislation, which is exactly what and how things should be, with body politics reflecting both the sentiments and the needs of their individual areas, whether cities, where there are cops, all over the place in precincts, ready, willing and able, to respond to crimes in the cities; however, out in the rural areas, most homeowners are taking care of business, and protecting themselves, knowing that many citizens out in unincorporated areas, or the more rural areas, the response time may be up to an hour, if you are lucky, so you need arms to protect, your home and your castle, with legal rights to protect you and yours, in your homes, and entitled to use lethal force if necessary, with self-defense protections, legally in place, if that becomes the apparent protection you need!  But, after Sandy Hook, there were more gun sales, up by like 300%, so a pro, gun control, president, is not necessarily an enemy, in the broader sense, of the political landscape, and you must, remember, that, it is you Congressional, state, county and local representatives, who have a far larger say, that a president, over what regulations you will and will not have on the right to bare arms!

In my very humble, bad ass con law chick position, I even think, that any gun control from Congress, is unconstitutional, unless it is making a general welfare law, that does not regulate guns within the states or localities, a 10th amendment issues!  The way, I, and other constitutional law scholars, read the first three amendments . . . with the first words in the Bill of Rights, saying CONGRESS SHALL NOT . . . applies to the first three amendments, including the second amendment to bare arms and to have state militias, for a free state . . . until you hit a change in admonition going from the general population to the individual rights of the 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments, having to do with criminal law issues, later extended by the U.S. Supreme Court, to include, civil cases too!  So, there you have it!  You will want to check your representatives positions, which are far more important than the president, ask President Obama, a frustration that he could not get legislation through, because, we are a GUN RIGHTS NATION!
