THE NAME GAME OR THE BLAME GAME?

As I wind down this blog, really, didn't want or feel the need to write today, the thought came to mind, what are the basics, of about anything?  I thought, what would, I teach someone, who, wanted advice from me, as they start, college or in particularly, a new career, hopefully, having faithfully, prepared themselves for whatever, it is they wanted to do in this life, or where they wanted to display their talents, skills, or contribute to mankind, and our advancement?  A bus, went by, today, right as I was asking myself, that question . . . with the statement, about a great thought, or house, or idea, or case, or career, starts with a great floor, in a symbolic sense of the word.  What are you standing on?  What makes a good floor?  A college degree?  A good family name?  A brand?  A firm foundation?  A strong body?  A good mind?  A moral character?  Just what is it that makes some one great?  Good question.  The first thing that came to mind, and it came up, in my conversation on the bus, this morning with my new, friend, Parris, an accountant, who ran into some, issues, that challenged, both her character, her name, her credibility, her position, and her competence, if not more than, that.  She was asked to do some unethical accounting, paychecks, and some other things, that upset her so much, that she told her boss that she would quit!  Good for her!  Sometimes, that is what it takes, to protect, that ever fragile, reputation, that once, tarnished, ruined, tainted, or violated, it is hard to restore; therefore, one has to guard, it from the very start of their life, career, employment, marriage, etc.

PEOPLE, GOVERNMENTS, COUNTRIES, BUSINESSES, RUN AT THE SPEED OF TRUST!

I can't remember, exactly, where I was, that I heard this local, author, former, Fortune 500 CEO, gal from Whitefish, Montana, speak about her experiences, at the company, and what she found, working in that business environment.  She said, that the one thing, that is most challenged and at risk, in today's world, market, economy, and workplace, is that old fashioned, element of trust!  People, no longer, expect to get hired, and work for their company, for 30 years, with the promise of a great retirement, now, wondering if they will get one at all.  They, can't trust their boss, or the CEO, or the company president, or whomever, to get their back, even if they are doing what is right for the company, following the rules, or the law, or doing the right thing, that used to matter, and in reality, still does, if not just for personal satisfaction, of doing the right thing, so you feel good, or so your conscience is clear, or because, it was the moral, ethical, and responsible thing for a person in your position, to do the right thing.  Trust is a huge thing, both a work, at home, in school, in a relationship, in a friendship, in marriage, or when, trusting, something very sacred, trusting that it will not become the profane!  OUR WORLD, DEPENDS ON TRUST!

To take this from the microcosmic to the macrocosmic, what we are seeing, with North Korea, is that they don't trust, America, therefore, they are, for thoughts of self-defense, building up an arsenal of nuclear weapons, and hydrogen bombs!  Iran, said that the United States will have to pay a high price, for destroying or reneging on their Iran Nuke Deal, that President Obama signed, and that, again, countries can only, learn to be in a working relationship, one with another, if, they have trust and confidence, in what, was signed, and agreed to stays, what they promised.  So, with Trump, the alleged, deal maker, is it wise, to renegotiate, the deal, or another deal, or ditch it all together?  There has to be some sort of carry over, between, American administrations, for a sense of continuity, and continuing clarity, of purpose and ideals, to go further and forward into the future.  Most of our treaties, agreements, contracts, plans, are good, from the time they are signed, until, forever.  That is the way trust is established.  We can't have President Obama, one of the main proponents of the Paris Climate Control Agreement, with 150 countries, signing onto that plan, just to say, oh, forget it now that Trump is in!  That is no way to run a country, nor a world!

THE USE OF PROPAGANDA, FAKE NEWS, MISLEADING INFORMATION, CAN LEAD TO A TOTAL BREAKDOWN OF THE MEDIA, FROM NEWSPAPERS, TO TV. TO RADIO, TO SOCIAL MEDIA . . . SOME SAY, THE MORE YOU SAY, THIS IS TRUE OR THAT IS TRUE, IT IS LIKELY TO BE BELIEVED?  IF IT IS NOT TRUE, WHY WOULD YOU WANT IT TO BE, BELIEVED?  WHAT GOOD CAN COME OF, AN UNTRUTH, AS IF, NOBODY WILL EVER DISCOVER, THAT, YOU HAVE LIED, MISLED, OUTRIGHT LIED, AND WHAT, ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH, DO YOU THINK, THAT DOES, TO THE TRUST SOMEONE HAS IN YOU, OR WHAT DOES IT DO TO YOUR NAME, YOUR REPUTATION? CHARACTER?  THERE IS A TON OF RISKS, THAT HAPPEN, WHEN, SOMEONE DECIDES, FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER, TO BE, UNTRUTHFUL, AND THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THAT CHOICE ARE ASTRONOMICAL, AND THE TRUE ESTIMATE OF THE COST, UNFATHOMNABLE, TO COMPREHEND!

ESTABLISHING TRUST?

I believe, and this is what helped me, to be, I would hope, a trustworthy person, and that is having a solid belief in a set of principles, concepts, guidelines, rules, laws, or constitutions, that, are founded, or have a contextual, framework, based on those principles, that can withstand, the test of time, challenge, outright war against, and the storms, of life, politics, enemies, foes, the deceptive, the devious, those who are out to destroy, both, man, beast and country!  Some of those rock bed, foundational floors, are, concepts, such as, rights, liberties, freedom, protections, and privileges, based on, ever, unchanging, solid rocks of principles, that are the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, that can be relied on, to be there, no matter what!  I love the title of the book, A River Runs Through It, because of the thoughts, that flow, with, not only a knowledge of the area, that the book comes from, but for me and my life personally, and the river, that runs consistently, powerfully, and calmly, through, my life, especially, starting my career, as an attorney, having taken, and oath, to, protect, defend and preserve the United States Constitution.

If you went back, 20 years ago, this year, and saw, the challenge, I made to the police and prosecutor's legislation, with two solid pages of violations of both the concepts, principles, rights, freedoms, protections and liberties, that were being eroded, stolen, violated, taken out, or deleted from, Constitutional, rights, based on inalienable rights, you would find a river of consistency, 10 years later, in my civil rights law suits, in my legislation, on the Salish-Kootenai water compact, in my blog, and basically, dealing with everything, I do and write about . . . there is a solid, consistent, foundation, floor, upon, which, I make my decisions.  You, don't see, a ton of variation, change, flipping and flopping on issues, or really, much deviation, in my stances, at all, over a 24 year span of work, writing, argumentation, in my research, and in my positions.  So if, someone, who, knew of me, or heard of me, or wondered, how I would stand, what I would support, or what I might, fight, on this or that issue, they would be pretty sound, in saying, that, if these principles, concepts, rights, freedoms, liberties, and protections, are there, contained in the legislation or law, or actions, of this or that agency, then, I would be in favor of it, and if they were missing, extracted, redacted, repealed, destroy, or denied, the solid and safe answer, is, she will oppose it, and fight it, with all the power she has, in her heart, brain, hands, and abilities. 

AND THAT YOU CAN GO TO THE BANK ON, TRUST, AND BELIEVE IN . . . WHY, BECAUSE, I HAVE A HISTORY, WITH EVIDENCE, FACTS, CASES, LEGISLATION, BLOG, AND WHATEVER, THAT, IS ALWAYS, RIGHT UP THAT ALLEY, AND NEVER CHANGES MUCH, BECAUSE IT IS WHAT, I TOOK AND OATH TO DO, MY REPUTATION, NAME, CAREER, AND CREDIBILITY, DEPEND ON IT!

YOU ARE WHERE YOU ARE, YOU  HAVE DONE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, AND HOPEFULLY, IF YOU HAVE BEEN LESS THAN, TRUSTWORTHY, IN THE PAST, YOU WILL SIMPLY, CHANGE!!!!!!!!!

A MAN OR A WOMAN, OR A CHILD, IS ONLY, AS GOOD AS THEIR NAME IS!

ONE MISHAP, MISTAKE, MISLEADING STATEMENT, LIE, USE OF FAKE NEWS, OR PROPAGANDA, TO GET PEOPLE TO BELIEVE WHAT IS NOT TRUE, CAN, RUIN, YOUR, REPUTATION, YOUR GOOD NAME, A LIFE TIME OF CREDIBILITY . . . TRUST IS NOT SOMETHING, THAT, STAYS, STABLE, AND ALLOWS, FOR DOING ONE THING ON THIS DAY, AND ANOTHER ON THAT DAY, AND LETS YOU HANG ON TO THE TRUST THAT PEOPLE HAD IN YOU . . . IT HAS TO BE LONGLASTING, DEPENDED ON, AND ALWAYS, PROTECTED, THROUGH, DOING ALL THAT YOU PROMISED TO DO!

START TODAY . . . THE WORLD, MOVES ON THE SPEED OF TRUST!
