Local member of The Spectrum & Daily News, St. George, Writer's Group, Ben D. Mahaffey, laments the fact that he was given a ticket by a local cop, recently, for an improper lane change. Mr. Victim Misnomer, stated that, [T]he officer who cited me was sitting in his squad car, backed into the turning lane, next to a fireplug, facing in the opposite direction. His vision to the rear was from a seven-inch rear-view mirror. The distance was 150 feet. He said that I made a right-hand turn directly into the inside lane from the outside lane. I was upset at what I thought considered to be an unfair ticket and decided to appeal the case.
- the clerk of the Justice Court tried to talk the appellant out of filing an appeal . . . Why are you doing this? It takes up court time. Just pay the ticket and be done with it.
- the assistant prosecuting attorney, informed Ben that he would have to go to court, sit and watch all the current trials, until he decides to call him out . . . you are then privileged to talk to him, standing up, in a noisy hall, without privacy to discuss your case, in other words, making the prosecutor actually do his job!
- this jack ass lazy ass attorney, just read the arrest warrant and looked at Ben, and said, You are guilty!
- in response, Ben, said he had some photos and drawings to show to him. The prosecutor just shoved them back to the alleged defendant and appellant, and said, What do these have to do with you being guilty of an improper turn? I have processed hundreds of tickets by this officer and he is never wrong! If you don't like it, go to trial.
NUREMBERG TRIALS
- three armed sheriff's deputies in the hall; three armed sheriff's deputies next to the judge, and three city police officers in the audience . . . how dare, a little insignificant citizen, the cop's real boss, as tax payers, dare to question one of the judge, jurors, and executors, that terrorize our streets! There is this sentiment, across the country, that each citizen has been broken into a value unit, of what the state, that can't earn or produce money, thinks it can extract from all of us . . . about $1,000 in fines and fees, tickets and whatever, to fatten the coffers of the gluttonous city, county, state and national budgets! Mr. GQ citizen, said he was sure that his fine, was needed to pay for these lazy ass, welfare, cops, adding to the bloodsuckers off the system, that should be as offensive to Republicans as any welfare mother, homeless person, Vet, or the elderly, that 47%, Mitt didn't see he needed to cater to! But the exponential and explosive growth, as seen in this courtroom, hell, they are not a burden on the system! Are you fucking kidding me . . . generally, or back in the day, a few years ago, there was one bailiff who served that particular judge or courtroom . . . what the hell happened?
- Ben was not able to present the possibility, that the officers, sitting smugly on the witness stand, bored and indifferent, might have had impaired vision or that the officer, himself, was illegally and dangerously parked, when he observed and ticketed him?
- Ben's testimony, all the evidence, everything he tried to introduce, to the court was declared irrelevant . . . even Ben was considered IRRELEVANT!
- surprise, surprise, surprise . . . Ben was declared GUILTY! I am surprised that the court didn't order his home taken, all his furniture was to be absconded from his home, and his vehicles impounded, or targeted with pipe-bombs . . . oh, that would have been reserved for his attorney, if he had gotten a bad ass con law chick, such as myself!
- Ben, had the audacity to wonder where his constitutional protections were, the presumption of innocence, equal protection of the law, the right to face his accusers and to challenge his testimony . . . because Homeland Security, Patriot Act babies, like these cops, prosecutor, and the judge, like Hitler's SS men, are above the law, and don't need to answer to mere citizens, who pay their fucking salaries! And what about the speedy trial . . . you scum of the earth, citizen, what 13 months, is not speedy, we were hoping to take so long, that you would just forget about it!
- Ben, reminds, me and the rest of the readers, that tickets are an important part of the city funding, and in another article, City coffers growing steadily, 1A, Thursday, 4.16.15, . . . the cops, prosecutors, judges, all get paid out of the funds, fight for the surcharges, that 90% addition, on top of the cost of the ticket! And, when you, Ben, are long gone from the presence of the judge, he will have to work with the prosecutor and the cop, so, is there any wonder, that the innocent are found guilty, and the fucking guilty are let free . . . all sucking out of the same pot!

Two Movies for the Very Smart, the Very Angry!
As I write my blogs each day, what I used to think was the brilliance of the YouTube gods, was actual computerized response to my own thinking and writing, kicking up movies, that seem to reflect some of the issues that I bring up, as I write, bitch and moan! In the last two days, I reviewed, two movies, that I had seen before, but seem to have particular relevance to the world we live in today . . . Enemy of the State, which, not surprising to any of you who know me, down in this part of the state, country and world, will be fully informed, that I am considered a big time, enemy of not only this state, but the church, too! And a more recent movie, Law Abiding Citizen, the story of a family, who, during a robbery, the husband, Butler, is tied up, with his mouth duck taped, shut, wounded, as he watches his wife murdered, almost raped, and his daughter, kidnapped and later found dead. The prosecutor, some hot shot, Ivy league law grad, plea bargains the case out, a favorite of prosecutors, saves time, keeps their win/loss record, as spotless, and on the win, side of the ledger, regardless of where justice falls, and eventually, Butler, comes back to kick the prosecutor and his lazy ass, plea, giving the wrong guy the electric chair, for ratting on his partner in crime, culminating in the city being terrorized, many people being killed, until Bulter is able to teach the prosecutor, the cops, and the city, a lesson on criminal justice reform!
Enemy of the State . . . a horrifying look, at just how up close and personal, the NSA can get to watching your every move! The movie, was filmed back in 1998, and I was so shocked to see that it was dealing with surveillance programs, what, almost, 20 years before, your average Joe Citizen, ever heard of Edward Snowden, or even that they were being spied on! The movie opens with a Congressman, being murdered, who opposes the national act and legislation, on constitutional grounds of privacy, and also, because of the number of jobs, that companies in his district will lose because of the act, that is so invasive of a person's privacy rights, and other constitutional protections, against such invasions! Not only is the Congress murdered, but a bird watcher, who accidentally, catches the murder on video, when discovered, is targeted, chased, and eventually murdered! People say I am paranoid, really, I spent the last 4 nights, in Durango, Colorado, with cops, looking for me, at least, what I could tell, or knew about, there were 3 hits on me, in one night! I have 25 people, who were murdered in connection with my cases, down here in southern Utah! A friend, who had a Ph.D, worked for NSA and CIA, respectively, was just murdered, by the SS men, in Littlefield, AZ, for telling me to watch my blog, and that these bad dudes, were pissed, as I am sure they are about this blog today, and everyday, and they will be, until they trash, the Patriot Act bull shit, or at least apply it to foreign terrorists, where it was intended to be used, and stop targeting and spying on CITIZENS, who created the federal government, and other governments, to protect their rights, not take them away . . . we created you, and we can get rid of you! There are roughly 400, 000 million people, and only a fraction of government employees, like cops!
Declaration of Independence . . . if ever, this form of government, doesn't meet the needs of the people . . . change it! Anyone for SPRING CLEANING? This is long overdue!
This is the Bad & the Ugly Part . . . Now for the Good . . . in the GOOD, the Bad & the Ugly!
Wow, I am hitting all the hot button issues in southern Utah, the Constitution, which is not only for all mankind, in modern, Mormon scripture, D&C, 98 . . . which states, that anything, more or less, than that, referring to the U.S. Constitution, which protected the early saints, from the government, they so fervently embrace now, that they have infiltrated so much of it . . . is EVIL! And, as I have mentioned, even Mormons in Utah, take oaths of office, to basically, protect, defend and preserve the Constitution from both, foreign and domestic enemies . . . look at the partner in the next squad car, the prosecutors or the judge, who fails to uphold the Constitutions of both national and state! Forget terrorists, we have enough to worry about in our own, fucking courtrooms, as Ben, so eloquently wrote about! Sorry, I took this GREAT oath seriously, and I intend to force you, as far as I can, to abide by it, as being part of my duty to preserve, protect and defend it! To do less, would be evil, and when in Rome, do what the Romans or the Mormons do . . . . and preach out of their own books! Nothing condemns anyone, more than their own texts, testimonies, and prophets!
The Islanders Are Bringing It Home For At-Risk Kids . . . And Not Just Kids of Their Own Flavor, but ALL Youth in This Community!
Paki and Tose Tiatia . . . are cooking it up for youth! Paki used to be, or maybe still is a youth corrections officer, who saw that youth need help, to get somewhere in life! Amen Brother! Plato, in his essay, on the Republic . . . where we got the term a Republican form or representative form of government, said, that if parents fail to teach their children about the law, then society will. The juvenile justice system, can do that, but loving members of the community, like this husband and wife, duo, who have the ability to go beyond the four corners of their own home and restaurant, open the arms in their circle of love, to include at-risk youth, not only letting kids work off community service hours, earn a bit of money, or get training on culinary art skills and life skills . . . teaching them to live, productively in this world, with skills, education and support . . . THANK YOU!
Not everyone, is lucky enough to have great people, like these two as their parents, as reminded to me by a judge in Montana, who said, in a training last summer, when he said, he is shocked that some of the kids, who come in his courtroom, really are amazing, considering the parents, many of them, he had seen years ago, in his courtroom, strung out on drugs, in trouble with the law, or losing their own children, due to problems, but some of these kids just need a bit of support, loving guidance, some job skills, and they are off and running! As demonstrated by this couple, we can do this for our kids! Some of the goals of the academy, called New Beginnings Academy and Island Grinds Authentic Foods and Catering, is help youth and preserve cultures within our community through music, dance and food . . . what could be more fun than that? This is not just for the youth, but for the whole community!
AWESOME . . . they serve 50 to 150 free meals a week, for those in need it and can be had every Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m.! Donations to kick back to the Wednesday event are always welcome . . . JUST PAY IT FORWARD! I am all about this with the Tiatia's, they love doing this, and they love to help kids and they love food! Now, I just need to find me a big Islander, so I can enjoy this food, with him, and forget these scrawny boys, and thinking about watching what I eat . . . I don't need to lose weight, I just need a BIGGER GUY! LOL!
