SWINGING SINGLES IN THE DUCK DATING WORLD, AS FAR AS I COULD TELL . . . I AM NO DUCK EXPERT, JUST AN OBSERVER, AND INTO WHAT THAT MIGHT SHOW IN THE HUMAN WORLD!
Yesterday, I mentioned, what seemed to be the process, again, very important in even, the dating and mating world, both for birds, animals, and people . . . (1) an unorganized, unmatched, mass of ducks, all swimming, in almost a circle, very close together, in a blob, is looked like, all mixed, males and females, just hanging out, eating bread, and scraps that people were throwing in the river; (2) pairs, leaving the group, or paddle, and going off together, on the shore for a few minutes is all, then, back into the flock, again . . . nope, don't think so, maybe later, let me check out the rest of my drake-necked friends; (3) eventually, some paring took place, some faster than others, taking off, to parts and rivers, ponds, and lakes unknown, never to frequent, the Clark Fork again . . . or just floating the river, on a lazy, Sunday afternoon, checking out, what this duck is all about! Easy like a Sunday morning, nothing serious, let's meet for a few bugs, and plankton! Bottom feeders! LOL. (4) serious, couples, stayed together, and kind of did their own, thing, cruising, and eating, mainly still in the water, or flying, somewhere and coming back, sometimes, in just couples, but, this is the strange, single part of this, whole mating, thing, there were the two by two's, then, there were groups of 3 to 5 ducks, still, in a smaller paddle, I like that word, it sounds, ducky! LOL. Were they swingers? polygamous? bigamists? or still immature, and hanging in groups, like humans? (5) Judged on what I saw, of some of the ducks . . . nah, nothing that interested me this year, and they were off doing their own thing, totally, alone, just floating the river and watching the scenery. Who says, I have to get paired off the first spring, or even the second, or ever? Some simply, were just, being, a lone duck! There is evidence of that in other species, like, Ethel the female bear, who cruised, over 1,000 miles, eating cherry's in the Flathead, also tracked to the Bob Marshal Wilderness Area . . . she simply had no desire to mate, and as far as recorded, to date, didn't have cubs. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT? TOO MANY OPTIONS? INTO FREEDOM? INTO CHERRY PICKING MORE? LOL? WHO KNOWS!
