BUT, THERE WAS AN INTERVIEW, WITH FORMER SECRETARY OF DEFENSE, AND FORMER CIA DIRECTOR, LEON PANETTA, WHO SERVED IN VARIOUS POSTIONS IN THE LAST, 9 PRESIDENT'S ADMINISTRAITONS, SO A PRETTY CREDIBLE GUY, WOULDN'T YOUN THINK? I HEARD PANETTA, SPEAK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA, A YEAR OR TWO AGO, AND HE IS A SMART MAN, AND TO BE LOOKED TO FOR ADVICE, IN THIS AREA AND AT THIS TIME, AS KNOWING MORE THAN THE AVERAGE VOTER, OR EVEN THE BETTER THAN AVERAGE VOTER, IN THE 538 MEMBERS OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, BUT STILL NOT, UP TO PANETTA AND HIS CONCERNS, SEEING ABOUT A MONTH OF WHAT A TRUMP PRESIDENCY WOULD LOOK LIKE, SO I TOOK AN INTERVIEW WITH "FACE THE NATION" AND I WILL BULLET, SOME OF THE POINTS, THAT NOT ONLY LEON MENTIONED AS AREAS OF CONCERN, WITH TRUMP, BUT WITH THE GROWING CONCERN, THAT IS MOUNTING, IN THE INTELLIGENCE BRIEFINGS THAT FOR THE MOST PART ARE BEING IGNORED AND NOT ATTENDED BY OUR, ALLEGED, NEW PRESIDENT-ELECT, TRUMP, WHO, ALLEGEDLY GOT YOUR VOTE, BEFORE, YOU VOTED, ON DECEMBER 19, 2016, BUT, HEY WHAT THE HELL, I THOUGHT THESE THOUGHTS WERE WORTH, WRITING ABOUT, FOR YOUR INFORMATION, FYI, IS THE GOVERNMENT ACRONYM FOR THAT TERM, I HAD TO ASK WHAT THAT MEANT, WHEN I FIRST STARTED WITH THE UTAH ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE . . . GROWING CONCERN IN THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY, WITH LEON PANETTA STARTING THE CONVERSATIONS WE NEED TO HAVE!

Trump Was Shocked, When He Met With President Obama, and Learned of All the Things that The President Has to Do, Foreign Policy is Just One Very Big Area, and So Is Domestic Policy, Some Are Seeing the Inexperience

I am going to just make a few comments, probably doesn't surprise anyone, opinionated on all things, but, on more than one occasion, during the primaries and the general elections and since, I have, said, that there is no shortcut to success, and experience MATTERS!  I for one, have seen, what growing into a job, does for you, with each one, shedding more and more light, giving you building blocks of success, understanding, insights, into the way things work and your competency, within the government system you are entering, one job, preparing you for the other.  I remember when Sarah Palin, former, V.P., pick, was running with, Senator, John McCain, and having worked in all levels of state government, and having an internship, that put in the national seen, learning who things, sort of worked at that level, I could not imagine, going from, the mayor of Wasilla, to the governorship, let alone, going from, a few, years in the Alaska governor's office, to that of being Vice President, alone, not to mention, being one heart beat away from the presidency, should something happen to an aging president, as the Senator would have been.  I think, in all honestly, that was one of the main, reasons, that, people shied away from, the McCain/Palin ticket, just too risky, to many unknown factors, politics aside, the electoral college, on December 19th, has the opportunity, in a great service to the country, to in their wisdom, take a look at the job of the president of the United States of America, and, seriously, fill the job with the most, suited, for America.  With that said and done:

• the intelligence community as a whole, is concerned about Trump's apathy, and inexperience
• they are terrified at the potential ramifications of a know-nothing president who refuses to educate himself
• he has no government experience, no idea what was involved, in the job of being the president, and when he met with President Obama, who made the job look way too easy, he mentioned that he had no idea that the president had to do so much
• THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN IGNORE!
• skipping a few intelligence briefings, that is the general practice of all the last 9 presidents, from Panetta's experience, is not like, missing a meeting with Speaker, Paul Ryan
• this is national security we are talking about . . .
• the intelligence community can see that Trump doesn't seem to care, as if he is, not in the mood to go golfing today
• Trump, doesn't understand the facts, and to be far, most people would not, but when you are president, you can't, just NOT DO IT!
• you have made that obligation to the AMERICAN PEOPLE, WE THE PEOPLE
• you are going to take the oath of office, swearing to do this
• this is not like Trump Industries, where you send a little representative, to the board meeting
• YOU HAVE TO BE THERE!  YOU ARE THE PRESIDENT, FOR GOD SAKES!
• you can't be the president in absentia
• you have to understand everything that is going on in the WORLD and be honest about knowing it, you can't take General Flynn or Jared, your son-in-law to your intelligence briefings to explain what you just go in the daily report, nor can Ivanka, be used to distract meeting attenders
• I think, sorry about the editorial comments, this is Panetta, here, "I think this is the point that a lot of presidents, haven't gotten enough credit for
• you have to know everything
• what happened the last time we had a Republican president, who decided to ignore a couple of intelligence briefings, like the one August 6, 2001, that George W. Bush decided to ignore and entitled, Bin Laden, who was determined to strike within the United States, while Bush was reading children's books to an elementary class in Florida
• we don't need another 9/11
• we don't need another George W. Bush, with all due respect, but, unfortunately, that seems very likely with Trump, because he doesn't even want to pay attention now
• when the intelligence community says that are worried because of the country, there is time and pause for concern
• when the people who have the best handle on what is going on, in the world, say they are a bit scared, that is a good sign that we all should be a lot scared!

JUST SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT, THIS IS NOT A PERSONALITY CONTEST, OR A BEAUTY CONTEST, BETWEEN ADMINISTRATION, BUT, THIS IS SERIOUS SHIT, AND WE HAVE OUR TROOPS, LIVES AT STAKE HERE, LET ALONE THE HOMELAND!  THIS IS NOT A JOKE, NOT FOR FUN, NOT A RUBBER STAMP, BUT, IT IS TIME FOR THE COUNTRY, THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, TO DO SOME SERIOUS THINKING, AND SEPARTE AND ASIDE FORM YOUR STATES, THE POPULAR VOTE, IN A "REPRESENTATIVE" OR "REPUBLICAN" FORM OF GOVERNMENT, FREE TO VOTE YOU CONSCIENCE AND IN THE "BEST INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY" WITH ALL THE THINGS, YOU KNOW, ABOUT WHAT, FORMER PRESIDENTS HAVE DONE . . . AS SOMEONE IN THE KNOW, SAID, HE OR SHE, HAS TO KNOW IT ALL!
