"Broken Man"
I’ve done a little living
Things I ain’t proud of
And my best intentions
They all turn to dust
I’ve burned some bridges
Learned some lessons
Made me who I am today
Somewhere between a sinner and a saint
I get lost, I get found
Lose my way, but I turn around
Hit my knees, lift a prayer once again
Ask for mercy, ask for grace
Then I do the best I can
And I thank God He loves a broken man
I got a few children
And a wife I love
Their eyes are watching
Oh, and I don’t want to mess this up
I’ve come so far from the man that I was
Still I’ve got so far to go
Just holding to the one thing that I know
Oh, I know I get lost, I get found
Lose my way, but I turn around
Hit my knees, lift a prayer once again
Ask for mercy, ask for grace
Then I do the best I can
And I thank God He loves a broken man
Somehow I’ve seen Heaven
Use the mess I’ve made
To bring me from the ashes
And show me I can change
Oh, even I can change
I get lost, I get found
I get lost, I get found
Lose my way, but I turn around
Hit my knees, lift a prayer once again
Ask for mercy, ask for grace
Then I do the best I can
And I thank God He loves
I thank God that He loves
I thank God He loves a broken man
Things I ain’t proud of
And my best intentions
They all turn to dust
I’ve burned some bridges

I Don't Want To Be
I don't need to be anything other than a prison guard's son
I don't need to be anything other than a specialist's son
I don't have to be anyone other than the birth of two souls in one
Part of where I'm going is knowing where I'm coming from
I don't need to be anything other than a specialist's son
I don't have to be anyone other than the birth of two souls in one
Part of where I'm going is knowing where I'm coming from
I don't want to be anything
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
I'm surrounded by liars everywhere I turn
I'm surrounded by imposters everywhere I turn
I'm surrounded by identity crisis everywhere I turn
Am I the only one to notice?
I can't be the only one who's learned
I'm surrounded by imposters everywhere I turn
I'm surrounded by identity crisis everywhere I turn
Am I the only one to notice?
I can't be the only one who's learned
I don't want to be anything
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
Can I have everyone's attention please
If you're not like this and that
You're gonna have to leave
I came from the mountain, the crust of creation
My whole situation made from clay to stone
If you're not like this and that
You're gonna have to leave
I came from the mountain, the crust of creation
My whole situation made from clay to stone
And now I'm telling everybody
I don't want to be anything
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
Other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking around rooms wondering what I gotta do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be

MURDER SHE SOLVED. TRUE CRIME OUT OF CANADA!
- again, I like to point out cases that have something unique, in them, that makes, cops, tipsters, and others, look at things different than they might have before . . .
- in this case out of Ottowa, Canada, a 23 year old, philosophy major, decided to take some time off from school and an internship. She took a bike ride on a well traveled, bike, running and walking path, got abducted, by a younger man, taken in the bushes, and murdered. It took the community, only 6 days to find her body, which is pretty amazing. That first 48 hours really counts, while evidence, bodies, and tips are hot!
- there is a real sad part of this, case, well, the murder, but, there was a 16 year old girl, who saw, the young woman, and, a young man on his bike also, fighting, after she heard a scream from the bushes . . . she thought it was just a lover's quarrel, but she followed them for a while, even picked up her phone, and was going to call police, then, decided against it, even after she heard the girl scream for a second time! She, most likely, could have saved this young woman's life, had she just gone ahead and called the cops! No foul, no problem, right? It would not have hurt . . . . see something SAY SOMETHING! Had it been a lover's quarrel, the couple could have cleared it up immediately!
- the girl did, however, make a good identification of the man, after she heard the girl had been murdered right where she last saw the two fighting.
- apparently, there was at least, one other girl, on a bike that this dude tried to get to go with him into the woods! Now how he lured the victim, into the woods, is another story, the detective, figured, and she was gorgeous, that, he talked to her and asked her if she wanted to go for a bike ride, or to go talk, or do whatever, and when, the girl got down there, he likely, put the moves on her, and when she rejected him, he attacked her, and went ballistic, and, it appeared that, she tried to escape, being a good swimmer, jumped into the water, on her bike, and, he followed her in, and killed her. The divers found her bike, but not her body in the river. After a composite sketch of the man, came out, another girl came forward, and, the body was later found, after, an extensive search by cops and search and rescue, plus citizen volunteers, but she had algae from the river, in her lungs, but, after she was dead, he took the body, and dumped it, on land, but treated her naked body, with less respect that most people treat their dogs! He just threw here down, no sexual assault, but covered her with bushes and sticks!
- the girl was particularly low risk living, she was a good student, a responsible employee, and she had a steady boyfriend, who was cleared immediately, so no, other men, making the suspect, list, wide open! She didn't have anything weird in her financial life, nor, in any other area, as normal, good girl, as you could find!
- eventually, after thousands of people seeing the sketch, the cops got a call from a man, admitting that he killed her, and he didn't mean to. Then, some lady, said that looked like her grandson or son . . . the cops had interviewed the dude, but, the killer had a very distinctive, TATTOO of a winged bird, on his arm, that was very noticeable, from, the witnesses or the intended other victims . . . this is key, because, this young man, who lived in the town, the cops got the call from the killer, was also where this young man was from, and I believe, he was not much more than, just out of high school. But, he didn't have that, very key, winged bird tattoo, and that stumped the cops! They had him strip his shirt off, and, sure enough, he didn't have that tattoo, but everything else, fit, but they had to release him.
- again, their path led to this young man, so they gave him a polygraph test and he failed, it miserably. The cops brought in a hopped up, investigator, who started to grill him, and, at first the kid wasn't giving up anything, and he knew they didn't have anything on him. Eventually, the investigator, relaxed, and, changed tactics, and, he started to act, more like a father figure, to the kid, and, the dude, even said, we know you killed, her, and, I think, at this point they didn't have the body, I think . . . but, he started to draw a picture, of the whole thing, the incident, from start to finish, meeting her, where he took her, and then, down by the river, in the water and out, to where the body was. That put him, at least at the scene of the crime, so they charged him and booked him. They were still worried, knew they needed the confession, but, sometimes that is not even enough, so they called, some of his ex-girlfriends, and, the girlfriend, was able to give them that missing piece of information or evidence, that, would cover the defense attorneys, argument, that, sure someone may have told this dude, about how he killed the girl and where he put the body, but that gnarly, tattoo, still created, at least in the American criminal justice system, reasonable doubt, but then the girlfriend, told them, that the kid, loved to use, fake, stick on tattoos!
- when someone is booked into jail, they ask them if they have any IDENTIFYING MARKS ON THEIR BODY, OR IF THERE ARE ANY "TATTOOS" AND OTHER BIRTH MARKS, THAT DISTINGUISHES THEM FROM SOMEONE ELSE!
- I HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF SOMEONE USING A "FAKE" TATTOO, THAT MIGHT IMPLICATE OR POINT THE FIGURE AT A DIFFERENT SUSPECT! PART OF THE FRAMING PROCESS! EASY ENOUGH TO DO! CONSIDER WRAPS, FOR SLEEVE TATS, TOO!
- OH, MAYBE I ONLY WATCHED ONE CASE, YESTERDAY . . . THERE WAS ONE, MAN NAMED BRETT, WHO KILLED HIS WIFE, AFTER HE FOUND OUT, THAT SHE WAS MEETING UP WITH HER OLD HIGH SCHOOL BOYFRIEND, INTENT ON DIVORCING HIM . . . THE PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR ON THE CASE, PLAY ALONG WITH HIS GAMES TO FRAME THE OLD BOYFRIEND, ON HIS WIFE'S DISAPPEARANCE, BUT SHE WAS SMART ENOUGH TO SEE THAT . . . SHE PLAYED ALONG AND HAD HIM TAKE HER TO THE PLACE, HER HUSBAND, THOUGHT THE BODY MIGHT BE, AND AS THEY NEARED THE BODY, HE STARTED TO HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN, OBVIOUSLY, NOT AS COOL CALM AND COLLECTED, THE CLOSER THEY GOT . . . HE THEN, ASKED HER IS SHE WAS NERVOUS, BEING THERE WITH HIM? IF THE OTHER DUDE DID IT, WHY SHOULD SHE BE SCARED OF HIM? AS THEY APPROACHED, THIS PLACE, THERE WAS ONE OF HIS WIFE'S RUNNING SHOES, AND HE FREAKED, OUT, HIS EYES, GOT BIG, AND, HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING, SHE KNEW SHE WAS WITH A KILLER . . . SHE TOOK HIM BY THE FACE AND, SAID, BRETT, BRETT, IT'S OKAY, YOU ARE OKAY, WE HAVE FOUND THE BODY! THE WHOLE TIME SHE WAS WIRED, AND THE COPS AND DETECTIVES WERE LISTENING! HE ENDED UP GETTING LIFE IN PRISON WITH NO CHANCE OF PAROLE . . . AFTER HE WAS IN PRISON, AND THIS WAS HER FIRST CASE, SO GUTSY, THE PRISON GUARDS, ASKED, HER IF SHE HAD ANYTHING TO SAY TO BRETT . . . SHE SAID, YEAH, HOW DID IT FEEL TO BE TAKEN DOWN BY A WOMAN!? I GUESS HE WAS VERY SEXIST, AND DEGRADING ABOUT WOMEN! PAYBACK "IS' LITERALLY, A BITCH! LOL.
- COOL CRIME-STOPPER, TO PASS ON TO THE LOWER 48! THANKS!
Have a Nice Day
Why, you wanna tell me how to live my life?
Who, are you to tell me if it's black or white?
Mama, can you hear me? try to understand
Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man
My daddy lived the lie, it's just the price that he paid
Sacrificed his life, just slavin' away
Who, are you to tell me if it's black or white?
Mama, can you hear me? try to understand
Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man
My daddy lived the lie, it's just the price that he paid
Sacrificed his life, just slavin' away
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Take a look around you; nothing's what it seems
We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams
Let me be the first to shake a helping hand
Anybody brave enough to take a stand
I've knocked on every door, on every dead end street
Looking for forgiveness
What's left to believe?
We're living in the broken home of hopes and dreams
Let me be the first to shake a helping hand
Anybody brave enough to take a stand
I've knocked on every door, on every dead end street
Looking for forgiveness
What's left to believe?
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Oh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
When the world keeps trying, to drag me down
I've gotta raise my hands, gonna stand my ground
Well I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
