YESTERDAY, THERE WAS SOME INDICATION IIN ONE OF THE ARTICLES, THAT VERY PRAGMATIC SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, PAUL RYAN, WHO WITHDREW HIS SUPPORT FOR THE GOP'S NOMINEE, DONALD TRUMP, DUE TO THE RECENT FINDINGS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND POSSIBLE OUTRIGHT SEXUAL ASSAULT, THAT HE CAN NO LONGER STAND NEXT TO A MAN LIKE THAT, SO HE TOLD HIS DOWNLINE THAT EACH MAN AND WOMEN WAS FOR THEMSELVES, TO DO WHAT THEY HAD TO DO TO RETAIN THEIR SEATS, IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE THAT ARE NOT AT RISK WITH MOST PEOPLE FAVORING THE DEMOCRATS TAKING CONTROL OF THE SENATE AND POSSIBLY THE SENATE, BUT IT WAS SURMISED, THAT CLINTON WITH A HISTORY OF WORKING WITH PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE, THAT, HER AND RYAN, MAY BE BETTER SUITED, TO DO THE BUSINESS OF THE NATION, WORKING ON COMPROMISE AND FORWARD COLLABORATION, TO REALLY GET THINGS DONE AROUND THIS JOINT! NEXT TO POLITICS, RELIGION CAN BE THE MOST DIVISIVE, AND I FOUND, THAT REFORMED, CATHOLICS, JEWS, AND OTHER, VERY RELIGIOUSLY RAISED AND INDOCTRINATED, MEMBERS OF OTHER CHURCHES, TENDED TO SEE THE WORLD AND EVEN POLITICS, MUCH CLOSER TTO THE WAY I DO, THAT, EVEN MEMBERS OF MY OWN FAMILY! Now, Here is an Optimistic Character: "Make ALL of America Great Again" . . . If the Donald Can Do That, He Can Still Win . . . That's a BIG If!  LOL.  You, Mr. Trump, Have Definitely Made the Campaign Fun and Interesting!

Now, me and my gay buddy, Clinton, of all names, had an interesting discussion, this morning at the Pov., and he is all behind, Mr. Trump, and he is furious at Robert De Niro, and Barbara Streisand, for siding with Hillary Clinton, and he thinks that movies stars should stay out of politics all together!  I said, Clinton, how can someone with a name, Clinton, vote for a Trump?  I have to remind myself, that, he is gay, and proud of it, so, maybe he has a crush on Trump, as vehemently as he is defending him!  LOL.  Clinton is fighting for the Trumpster and his Trumpkins, as much as I am fighting for Hillary, siding with the movie stars!  LOL!  I have early on in this election, decided, it is not, my duty, to re-educate, every Trump fan, as to why, they are wrong and I am right.  I am not arguing with you, I am just telling you why I am right!  LOL!  This article, and now, I am not sure who wrote it, but I doubt it was, either the New York Times or the Washington Post!  LOL!  But, it has made my job easier, and given me hardcore, points, well defined, for which to make my points and point out my arguments in opposition!  I love politics and the process, the debates and the fun . . . so, here are the 5 points, if I remember from reading the article, in a rush, so, I will hit the main points for the undecided voters, this late in the game:

1. return to the central issue of the race: the economy (re-read my title, review what the scorched-earth strategy is)
2. project a strong commitment to bipartisanship (ditto)
3. speak about unifying the country (where has this guy been?  Hispanics, Muslims, Blacks, Women . . . this dude is the white, man's man!)
4. emphasis transparency and trust in government (taxes, taxes, taxes)
5. end the hyperbole--the anti-establishment shit and start to be a genuine statesman (Trump Goes to War with the GOP, he is going to teach the Republicans how to win?  He is adding the whole fucking Republican Party, to #3, see above!)

Need I further elaborate my points of contention?  I didn't teach argumentation and research for 5 years at a college level for nothing.  I think, my quick notes, rather sum up, the longer version, of what I might say, in a more verbose and detailed, defense of why I am voting for Hillary Clinton.  Now, I know, that the greater majority of voters, probably do not, live, eat, sleep and dream, politics, like I do, but, seriously, even the non-attendant, rational person, could, just as easy and thoroughly debunk, this man's lofty mission and goals, to find, some redeeming value, in, any of these points, or any evidence, examples and statistics that might, prove me wrong, and the possibility of a 70 year old man, set in his ways, errant as they are, and see any significant pivot, that everyone has been waiting for the last year!  At each critical junction, of this road to the White House, friends, foes, campaign directors, managers, past, present and future, have told the waiting public, that, the Donald, is going to pivot, oh, now he will pivot, ah, pivot?  FUCK NO, the man, is who his is, and teaching an old dog, new tricks, is just not going to happen.  I do admire the man, unelectable as he is, for taking a stand and never, ever compromising, or changing, pivoting or changing direction with a loser idea, but, after dealing with my 85 year old father, who has not pivoted in 85 years, I have given up hope of change, any agent of the different, or of having an attitude of trying, making an effort, or repenting from their blatantly, 1950's Daddy Knows Best attitudes, talking about TV land and movie stars!  LOL.  Leave it to Beaver!

Anyway, fun stuff, fun points, too easy to refute, for this thinking, news reading woman, but defending the indefensible, I will NOT!  However, I am grateful to both, Bernie Sanders and Trump, for bringing, a whole new generation of interest and voters to the polls, who might have waiting, until their 40's or 50's, when their lives settle a bit, and families were on their way, to get involved, and for that, I will be eternally grateful, to you both, unless, Trump can pull of a Truman moment on election morning!  I have long looked for a statesman to run for the presidency, but I fear, that has not happened much, since, President John Adams, who said, be damned to the people, he only answered to God and worked for the good of his country . . . he, unlike more popular presidents, never had a monument or library named after him, he was not loved, but he got it done and did a great job for the country!  I think, this attitude of statesman-like, objectivism, is what puts me right in the middle, in the purple, always, being true to my constitutional base and foundation, that leads and guides me in my positions, resolutions, and conclusions, on what the nation should do, on any issue, as a guidance and road map, to direct, lead, and take us in that MORE PERFECT UNION, regardless of political costs, personal sacrifices, and mobocracy that mounts and opposition against us!  THE WORLD LONGS FOR STATESMAN AND WOMAN!  LET THAT BE A GOAL, RATHER THAN POLITICS AS USUAL!
