Predators--the Real Silence of the Lambs--Serial Killers--Hallow Ground--P.O.W., M.I.A.--Marvel Comics: My Real Super Power Is, I Don't Need Sleep!  Happy-Thanks-For-Giving!

It always fascinates me, as to what and how, some true crime, or true crime episode, seems to make it to me, in the most bizarre fashion, and means, often without, me, really understanding this whole, media outlet of watching movies, TV crime shows, and even how to get another episode, to come up, now, on my new, passion, Criminal Minds, based, I believe, on, real cases, having exhausted, the actual cases, that FBI Files, Forensic Files, New Detectives, Most Evil, etc., show for free, and as is the case with several episodes, that seem to keep coming up, over and over, or all the sudden pop up, without coaxing or clicking, so, wondering if someone, looking into my case or my recommendations, wants help or comments on these particular episodes, taking them deeper and deeper, into the minds, psyche, psychology, of a spy, serial killer, with the respect of law enforcement, nationwide, wanting to make sure, that someone, trained as I am, in the law, in teaching and training, cops and prosecutors, and having a personal relationship with several, if not all of the culprits, so, being not only an invaluable source, to those who are charged with, a plethora of crimes, from, state and local, to federal, and likely international, in scope and breadth, wanting to make sure, clarify, or have me, validate, examples of cases, symbolic names, character and background, make up, that might lead this person, or persons, in the conspiracy against me and my immediate family, to do, what, I am alleging and what, authorities, suspect, but, have to have proof, in order to arrest, charge, jail, hold a trial, convict, high powered, and notable individuals, who are suspected, in my case, knowing the case, better than any agent, or cop, ever could, to the point that, there is confidence, that prosecutors, juries, and courts, can find, beyond a reasonable doubt, the standard of review in a criminal case, that, these people are GUILTY!

I often marvel, at the order, sequence, and symbols, come, as if, some mastermind, with all seeing, over powers, can take what I have written, and incorporate it, into a criminal profile, of people, that have, not as yet, been accused of a crime, a super profiler, of god-like, understanding, developing a hybrid, combo, in a more sophisticated, and brilliant, look, at the minds of criminals and, serial killers, still, new, developing, and in its infancy, to our understanding and comprehension.  Every, once in a while, there is a criminal mind, that is so smart, so cleaver, so charming, so alarmingly good looking, and manipulative beyond the training of cops, prosecutors, judges, prison guards and wardens, that, they are literally, able to continue their crimes, hardly experiencing a speed bump, or cough, going from serial killer, to prison, out, on the run, back in jail, charming, disarming, and escaping even the most secure facilities.  One such, killer, is, Ted Bundy, the handsome, cool, smart, psychology major, turned, law student, who attended the University of Utah, law school, back in the 70's, but who, travelled the country, killing, woman, after woman, even breaking into, a sorority house on a college campus in Florida as I recall, killing, 6 or 7 girls, all in the same house, even with, roommates, coming in late at night after work!

WHAT DOES A SERIAL KILLER LOOK LIKE?

Most of us, have preconceived, notions of some, creepy, scummy, ugly, recluse, holed up, on some remote farm, or rural area, or some social loser who cannot get a woman, so he stalks, attacks, rapes and kills, to take what he can't get naturally.  But, we generally, never suspect, a Ted Bundy, type guy or gal, for that matter, either of serial killing, or suspecting them of other crimes, they don't fit our thoughts, feelings, and ideas of what criminals, act and look like, therefore, they in a way, are our most dangerous, deadly, and slippery, because, we just can't get our minds around, these people, who, could easily, attract the opposite sex, maybe even alluring law enforcement and prosecutors, jailers and judges, to the point, that, these people are seen as super humans, and we don't think, anything should happen, that is of a negative or bad nature, because, these people are our heroes, or leaders, or politicians, or our, pastors, religious leaders, able to easily manipulate, cover, excuse their deviant behavior to a satisfactory, level, that will fool and mock, even the very elite in the criminal justice system and might be, sitting next to them, in a high level cop agency, never a suspect and being seen as above the law, beyond suspicion, and beyond the reach of law enforcement, prosecution and conviction, being that cunning, clever, charming, and would charm the very socks off your feet and take the shirts off your back, while they are charmingly, bringing them under their spells!

One time, I got a call, from an inmate at the Beaver County Correctional Facility, when I was a criminal defense attorney, he heard me speak on the radio, and he, wanted me to represent him, but at the time, I don't believe that I had activated my law license yet, and was at the time, just getting back into life and politics, being a guest speaker on a local southern Utah, radio station, talking about, asset forfeiture, cops, robbers, and the Patriot Act, which had attracted the attention of roughly 70 people who showed up, after the show, to ask if they, the community, members, even cops, and could, interesting, how this all turned out, duplicate me!  Perhaps, the cops that came to meet me, got the idea, from that night, because, more than one, person said that, and I just laughed it off, but I am not now!  But, this man, who called me from jail, was, the epitome of what most people would think of a very bad man, and he told me, he was a very bad man, and I had no problem believing he was a sick, twisted, con man, into taking naked pictures of kids, and sending kiddie porn, all over the world . . . he had long, greasy, dirty, hair, his fingernails, were gross, discolored and long, he was ugly, ugly, ugly, and I had not trouble believing every revelation of his nature and character and would have suspected him of shit, regardless of being in prison!  He was the archetypal, scum bucket of the earth, someone, even the most deadly trained, soldier, cop, or prosecutor would dread, meeting in a dark alley . . . these people probably, grow into their labels, they are seen and believed to be bad guys, therefore they take on the label, as kids do, and grow up to be very bad ass, dirty ass, bad guys!  These are the easy ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I could hardly stand to look and talk to the guy!

But What About the Anti-Archetypal Serial Killer Like Bundy?

Again, yesterday or the day before, this series or documentary, on the Real Silence of the Lambs--Serial Killers came up, not as one, recommendation, but in about 6, either parts, whole or break offs from the profiling of a serial killer, and one part or man, struck me, as being, someone, who, could see right through, Ted Bundy, to his dark, evil, wicked, killer state of mind, and warned, jailers, cops and prosecutors who would befriend, Bundy, making them let down their guard, because the guy was funny, witty, intelligent, a charmer, and even during the trial of Bundy, so narcissistic, that he represented himself, in  his own trial, and he was charming, female jurors!  Even cops, that knew, this man was guilty, tended to turn a blind eye, to him, and let down their guard, seeing him, known for killing dozens of women, across the United States, as someone, to let freely walk, the jails, use the law books, and even taking the handcuffs off him, because, he really didn't do those crimes, he couldn't have, it just was not in him, and the second Bundy got a second away from the guards, he was out a window, a heating vent, a bathroom, window and on the run AGAIN!  How many women, could have been spared, had, cops and others, actually believed, the raw, real, and rare facts that YES, this dude is a KILLER!  But, in the documentary, there was a cop, early on, who was not charmed, was able to connect all the dots, and wherever Bundy was, there were bodies of dead women showing up, without exception, so not a hard, connection, and he knew it and would warn, the guards, to no avail, I believe, until the women at the sorority house turned up dead in mass!

I am always struck, by the thoughts of the neighbors, who ALWAYS say, he was just the guy next door! we never suspected a thing!  The guy, Todd, who was discovered, by the cops, or someone, for having the woman chained, in his yard or house, in South Carolina, was just some dude, real estate, guy, a bit overweight, kind of a recluse, but he had a pretty successful business, and nobody, expected a damned thing from him, and they have uncovered, 7 bodies so far!  This man owns, several pieces of property, this is just the first one they have looked at!  Now, if these guy, can slide under the radar screen of everyone, what about someone, tall, dark and handsome? a ladies man, a womanizer, a big ass cover for someone, who is preying on women, and killing them!  Because every cop, prosecutor and judge, is going, would that I could be that handsome, cool, suave', and have my way with any woman!  But, I would guess, that, like the man, in the Bundy case, there are cops, who, know, that each time, a girl, or woman, went missing, back in the early, 2000's, Brett was, somehow, around.  With serial killers there is a cooling off period, was he married at the time?  Often, what is considered a runaway, is in reality a murder case!  Serial killers, will state that they have this uncontrollable impulse to kill, and generally, it is not sexually, motivated, but more, like other male on female crimes of domestic violence and sexual assaults, it is about, power and control over the victims!  There is a sense of power, when, you have someone so controlled that, you, literally, see yourself as a god, figure, who can control the life or death of another person.

I look back, on the pick up, the attraction, the foreknowledge, of this man, and wonder, was I the only one, who got away and why?  Well, I unlike other women, had a death sentence on my head, therefore, I saw going with a man, who picked me up, as just, a bit of a walk on the wild side, because I was going to die anyway, and why not go out happy sexually, so, there was not resistance, in fact, I pushed him, beyond his sexual appetites, he really didn't need to exert power and control over a willing victim, who, merely, looked at this as like an adventure, even never leaving him, and willingly, being what could have been considered a happy sex slave, even though, I never did anything weird, kinky, or like sadomasochistic, and I was genuinely, attracted to him, and loved him was willing to stay and be his wife!  LOL!  So, I probably threw him off his game for a while.  But, as I got better, the power and control trip started, and he started trying to limit, my freedom, give me times to come and go, which, all I did was blow off!  LOL!  I think, I totally, disarmed him, and he really hadn't played this game book before, and didn't know what to do, nor did he take rejection well, and I was clever in the way, I escaped, never bucking my attempts and him bringing me back down on the farm, so to say, in fact, he started to get jealous of me, taking walks, etc.  I think, I am a whole new ball game for all types of men, who have professions of having power and control over the lives, destinies and dreams of others, like those psychopaths in law enforcement and criminal justice systems!  Yeah, the dudes who did all this to me!  I probably brought out a very different side of them, they didn't know what to do with . . . comments like, even Gloria Steinem, got married, or what you need is a good man, or a good fuck, and if you were getting laid, you would be nicer?  No.

Twisted Childhoods, Head Trauma, and Abuse--Key Elements to Serial Killers

The interesting thing to me, is that, I tend to disarm, men, predators, whether on the streets, in the psychologists office, in the jungle world of single dating in a modern era, taking a big time, predator, and reversing the game on them, because, while not a predator at all myself, I have had men, and male attraction all my life, and don't see, even the best looking, as, my last chance, nor someone I will catfight over, let filet me, or really, get much of a leg up on me, in any way shape or form, so, I am a psychological make up of a woman, that is rare, even for a group of females, like the women's law forum, with 400 female attorneys, taking a personality test, with only two, of us, being this type of personality and the hardest type to be married to!  The thought just came to mind, that as predatory and venturesome as Bill Clinton, was, I think, when all was said and done, Hillary, always, knew, he loved her, and she was his equal, in all ways, that that is attractive to powerful men, who may use and abuse, lesser females, and take advantage of them, the real challenge is the smart, the woman, they just can't get a read on, or the one they can't either get, or keep!  Let that be a lesson women, but, on the other hand, in all my studies of domestic violence, it is often the willful, the powerful woman, the challenge, that brings out the abuser, or the latent, attacker, and brutal, power freak in a man, because, unlike, most women, who are dominated for the most part, by men, either in a marriage or in the boardroom, or courts, easy to make into pets, mistresses, and victims of both sexual assault or a hostile work environment, the brave, the brassy bitch, the female attorney, who doesn't want to just make cookies, and doesn't really need a man, for anything, other than, being a sperm donor, is the one that, is attacked the worst, case in point, Hillary and the congressional oversight committee, and when they couldn't handle her, the F.B.I., director was brought into try to humble her, discredit her, call her extremely reckless and when that didn't destroy her presidential run, they tried it again, like an abuser will, to get power and control over the woman, who refuses to let a bully like Trump, and his boyz clubs, take her down!

I thought, that the symbolic names of the serial killer in South Carolina, Spartanburg, the city, of interest, in the uncovering of a serial killer, but with a chilling, revelation to my case, and my accusations, of the CIA, or the Spartan warrior, bouncing daddy laps, of allegedly, using war techniques from the days of the Spartans, remember the movie, 300, when the Spartans, fierce and feared, warrior culture, often took the young men, and paired them off with, older, that is deeper than that of a woman, so the soldier is more committed to the battlefield than to their wives and girlfriends!  Also a cover-up, for latent homosexual tendencies, where, to be outright gay for these, psychopaths, would be disgusting, but, to cover it up with, some, warrior like, Pat Rat's excuse for not only being with young men, but, for butt fucking women, incorporating both, things into this, alleged, super human, aspect of our armed forces and intelligence arms, would, make sense on the Spartan model!  But, in this case, people actually, went and said prayers over the fence, that blocked, all neighbors, from seeing into the yard where all these bodies were buried!  A symbolic fence, is created by other cops, other similarly minded men, with access, honors and powers, over, not only women, but men, and who, seeing their deviant, sexual appetites, as, just a mere bonding, James Bond, experience, to leave no man behind, or female warrior, let into the inner circles of this order of psychopaths, sociopaths, and serial killers, and at times, these men and women, serial killers, even get a free pass, from our government, to carry out their perverse and perverted, need for power and control, and then, give them the access to take property, real, personal and intellectual, and you can just see, the get out of jail free, the possibilities of world domination, through, military and top cops!

"CRIMINAL MINDS" AND THE ORGANIZED SERIAL KILLER--REALLY, ADOPTED BY HIS GRANDMOTHER, TO COVER FOR HIS SEXUALLY ACTIVE, WILD ASS SISTER, HIS MOTHER--WHO KILLED SIS, BECAUSE SHE TOLD HIM ABOUT THE ADOPTION, BUT HE HAD WATCHED HER HAVING SEX WITH ALL HIS FRIENDS, AND HE WANTED SEX WITH HIS OWN MOTHER--THE TABOOS OF INCEST WERE TOO POWERFUL, SO, HE KILLED HIS MOTHER/SISTER, LATER TRYING TO KILL HIS ADOPTIVE MOTHER, FOR COVERING UP, THE FACT THAT HE WAS HER GRANDCHILD, NOT HER CHILD, THAT HE HAD BEEN LED TO BELIEVE ALL HIS LIFE!

Sorry, I didn't catch the name of this episode, but, there were many similarities between, my third husband and this man, more in the way, they killed the women, whom he killed and why!  There were a string of murdered, women, all in their early thirties, all single mothers with sons, and to the friends and family members of these victims, found in 50 gallon drums, buried alive, with cement, being pored, over them, with handmade cement, there seemed to be some type of psychological connection between, good single mothers, all committed to their sons, that made this man jealous, for his wild and sexually errant mother, because he would take these women, and try to give them a frontal lobotomy, drilling the part of the brain, or skull, that tended to control, sexual activity, and behaviors!  Now, with Brett, not only was I a different breed of women, than he was used to, I was the first, Mormon woman, he had ever dated, and then married.  Brett's family was very religious and his wild mother, a beautiful woman, but a woman, who, didn't have much to do with him, growing up, leaving the child rearing to his older sisters, while she partied and bars and clubs and married several men--plus, the reason his father, divorced his mother, is her party lifestyle, and her child rearing ways, which were kneel to nothing!  Brett was very close to his grandparents and his oldest sister, Deborah, who was a lot older than he was.  So there were some similarities, and something that just came to me, is that, Brett, allegedly, if he is telling me the truth, worked at a nursing home, in his teenage years, and he had an affair, when he was 17 with a 51 year old woman, a mommy substitute?

On the family, property, in Mt. Sterling, Utah, 23 acres of farm land, Brett had, blue 50 gallon water barrels, out behind some sheds, where he also, had a white truck, with a shell, that, appeared in rather good condition . . . the truck he used to abduct and murder his victims, placing their bodies in the truck, with a cover, and driving the maroon, GMC, Sonoma, making it look, like the other truck was a junker, or inoperable?  There were berms, built, right, close to the house that Brett planted, small trees, looking landscaped, but, I always wondered if there were bodies, buried, there close to the house, leaving him, little room, to drive his truck up, and bury the women, in mounded graves?  My daughter thinks I watch too much crime, shows and movies, but, I never did when I was married to him, and that is when all these assumptions, and ideas, came to mind!  Brett, kind of told, or insinuated, he was a serial killer, or a hit man for the mob, or the government, or the church, or for all three, doing many women on his own, too!  Brett definitely, had something going on with local cops, because, they always seemed to give him only warnings with driving infractions, and a wink and nod, on issues with me?  But, if you take the serial killer documentary, with a focus on, the Ted Bundy types, unsuspecting, and a RITZ cracker truck just went down the streets, in St. George, Utah, my sign for RIGHT!, plus the real estate, dude, who had people buried on his 98 acre plot of land, chaining his victim, killing the man in her life, and I have had three such men murdered, I believe, since leaving Brett, with only a select, approval list, of apparent buddies, friends, controlling who and why, I am with, again, trying to use that systemic power and control, also, trying to control my children, through, a select group of men or women, all party players!

Sorry, the formula: (1) the documentary on the Real Silence of the Lambs--Serial Killers + (2) several serial killers, featured, on Criminal Minds, using criminologists or profilers + (3) the live, serial killer, in South Carolina, with the name Todd, and the TV movie of the dude who killed his sister/mother and grandmother and several single mothers, something, Brett seemed to do, focus on women with kids, because, he probably knew that they were generally, more financially, dependent, and most would do anything for their kids, so if they became and issues, he had control over them, even to the point of women, arrested and jailed, will plead, by 95% to anything, to save their children, so cops would know that, and use that + (4) the Bundy type character, and you add it all together, and it fits, most of the profile of Brett as a serial killer!

People used to come up to me, and say, JoAnn, do you think I could go to law school, to become a lawyer . . . my answer, was always, a simple, sure!  I would then tell them, what I thought was the key ingredient to success and making it through law school, and tell them it was discipline.  I would tell them, that when, others were going to college football games, playing golf, or messing around with their families, you, have to sit your ass down a study!  When family and friends, are preparing for holiday fun, Thanksgiving cooking and Christmas joy, you are focused on passing your exams, with the whole semester, and possibly your legal career, resting on that one test, that determines your grade, and your survival, in law school, with few room for errors, and many, areas for failure.  There is something magical that happens to a person's brain, when they go through the rigors of law school, not that, other areas of discipline are not, great for public service, but the law, is in everything we do, in government, from providing citizens with due process, knowing what that entails, and making sure that there is equal protection of the law, fuck, Congress is the law making body, of the three branches of government, and if you don't think, the other two, are profited and benefit, from a lawyer being in them, you are dead wrong, with the judiciary, being solely made up of lawyers, people who are lettered, and knowledgeable, trained and practiced, with a good record in the law or legal training, and the reasons are obvious.  If Hillary and Donald, were competing for the New Apprentice TV host position, I would strongly be pulling for the Donald, but that is not the case!

Now, however, my assessment of who can and will become an attorney, has changed, evolved, morphed, and become much more selective and sophisticated, than, someone who has the discipline to go to class each day, to study for and pass exams, to sit for the bar exam, and to learn to think, like a lawyer . . . it have added to that, the guts, the stamina, the fortitude, and the perseverance, to press through the sludge, swamps, and trenches of becoming a new being, so to say, learning to think, different, brighter, clearer, stronger, more creatively, and yes, more sophisticated! I look at my sisters, and their desire, opportunity, time and financial support, that would have allowed them to go to law school, and there was something in them, that stopped them, prevented them, prohibited them, from, having the guts, and that is what it takes, to go through law school and become an attorney!  They were lacking that, something, that drive, that passion, and perhaps, stunted by fear, of not succeeding with me, having already gone through the process, and rising straight to the top of the legal and professorial fields, distinguishing myself, not only on a state level, but a national level as well.  I think, they just figured that, somehow, the winds of fate, just dropped my ass, at the top of the heap?  But, while my family members, extended as well, wanted to make a difference, contribute to their world, and noble cause, they didn't want to start at the beginning, at the LSAT or law school entrance exams, they didn't want to sit in class, taking notes, studying while missing Thanksgiving dinners with family and friends, nor losing the Christmas spirit for 20 years, while more pressing matters, like passing final exams, or taking the bar, or writing a domestic violence and sexual assault manual, took precedence over, shopping, baking, wrapping and party going!  No, in short, they were NOT WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE! and it is an exacting one!

LAW SCHOOL, BREAKS YOU, THEN REMAKES YOU!

You either learn to think like a lawyer, or you don't make it through the boot camp, and many a valedictorian and Rhode scholar, didn't pass the grade.  Shit, I had a property law class, and we took a test, that the highest grade was a 31, I only got a 7, and 25 people would have done better to have just signed the test, and left the room . . . the professor, gave, negative points for wrong answers!  12 people dropped out of law school, that day!  After the first semester grades, grown, men and women, who worked their guts out, some, as much as 16 hours a day for 16 weeks, failed!  Some amped up their study, to 20 hours a day, camping out at the law school, never going home, only to find they did worse then, when they worked 16 hours a day to master the  material!  People who barely got accepted into law school, thrived, while, those more intellectually, ripe and trained, with better letters of recommendation, and grades from their undergraduate studies, failed.  I used to describe, it like this, take everything you know about, college, grades, study, put it in a big ball, and shake it up. The top will end up at the bottom, and the bottom the top!  There appeared to be no rhyme or reason, to who did well and who did not!  I firmly believe, that my religious practices, as a child, and young girl, with the word of God, being the law, and the facts, being the situations, I found myself in, then applying those particular set of facts, to that law, to come to a conclusion, or outcome, actually, trained me, for law school, not to mention, being an English major, being trained in critical thinking, analytical, and symbolic meanings, plus, my communications and teaching background, also helped kick, me into high gear, being the one stop shop attorney, go to gal!

No, my father, my 5 sisters, my brothers, and many cousins, who envied the position and title of being called a lawyer, decided that if they could not start at the top of the legal food chain, they would cheat, steal, lie, kill, and mimic, with access, capacity to surveil, and with the manpower of the Mormon church, with FBI, CIA, DIA, DEA, ATF, and NSA, Mo's, being trained in cop work, they could just do what they just did, use computer games, techniques and skills, to steal my work, and claim, protect, and lie, about who is who!  There is no short cut to success, you either pay the piper, or die, in the law . . . sooner or later, walking with a corn cob up your ass, and never smiling, does not a lawyer make, and someone, a judge, or another attorney, who is skilled and trained in the art of the law, will see through the cheap shot imitation, no matter how well, the CIA Make a Wish Foundation, tried to replace me with not 3 women, not 6, but somewhere around 10 and they are still struggling to contain me!  There is something magical, beautiful, amazing, powerful, gratifying, respectful, and satisfying about, doing, it, whatever it is, not that law is the end all, but for government, it never hurts, but, paying the exacting price, working, sweating, at time, despairing, but, hanging in there and completing the three years of law school, then taking the bar, a whole other experience, that trains you, to do whatever, with almost every aspect of at least government, policy and procedure, having root and stability in the law!
