SNAKES ON A PLANE! CLEANING THE SWAMP? LEAVING IT TO THE SWAMP RAT, REPUBLICANS TO CLEAN IT UP? THINK AGAIN, I JUST GOT MY, REPUBLICAN, MORMON, NSA, CONTROLLED, CYBER SPIES, STEALING MY BLOG, WRITING ABOUT, THE NEW, HOUSE RULES, TO TAKE AN "INDEPENDENT ETHICS COMMITTEE" AND PUTTING IT UNDER THE HOUSE REPUBICANS, BLOCKING ANY INVESTIGATIONS, GOING BACK, BEFORE 2011, SO WHOM ARE THEY PROTECTING? AND SUBJUGATING THE INDEPENDENCE, UNDER THE VERY HOUSE, OF CONGRESS, THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO KEEP, CLEAN AND ETHICAL! THIS REMINDS ME OF THE INTERNAL STRUCTURE OF "INTERNAL AFFAIRS" THAT INVESTIGATES, POLICE EHTICS AND COMPLAINTS, USING THE BUDDIES OF THE COPS BEING INVESTIGATED, IN THE SAME COP SHOP? SOME DEPARTMENTS, HAVE GOTTEN SMART, FOR COMMUNITY RELATIONS, AND REFER THE CASE OR THE INVESTIGATION TO EITHER THE SHERIFFS, OR TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, WHEN SHERIFFS ETHICS OR COMPLAINTS COME UP, OR NOW, LIKE IN VERY HOT, POLITICAL CLIMATES, SUCH AS, WHITE COPS SHOOTING, BLACK CITIZENS, WITH PROTESTS IN THE STREETS, COP SHOPS ARE SMART TO TURN IT OVER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND CALL FOR, INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS! GOOD MOVE! AVOID THE VERY APPEARANCE OF EVIL, OF COMPROMISE, OF A BREACH OF JUSTICE, STOPPING ANY, CLAIM, THAT, IT IS THE SYSTEM, OR THE COPS, PROTECTING, THE SYSTEM OR THE COPS INVOLVED! THIS IS THE TYPE OF THING, THAT HAPPENS, WHEN, THERE IS NO ONE, TO SERVE AS A CHECK AND BALANCE FOR A REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED, PRESIDENT-ELECT, ALLEGEDLY, EVEN THOUGH, JANUARY 6, 2017, THE JOINT SESSON OF CONGRESS, WITH V.P. BIDEN, READING THE VOTES, AND THE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, ABLE TO CHALLENGE THE VOTE . . . BUT, WHO CARES ABOUT, "DUE PROCESS" WHEN, IT REALLY COUNTS! THE REPUBLICAN HOUSE, WHERE THIS HAIR-BRAINED, VOTE TO GET RID OF THE "INDEPENDENT ETHICS COMMITTEE" OR THE MIND OF REASON, THE WATCH DOG, THE POLITICAL CONSCIENCE OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, IS PUT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THOSE, THEY WILL BE INVESTIGATING . . . OR AS SOMEONE SAID, THE HOUSE HAS JUST TURNED THE COMMITTEE, INTO A COMPLAINT BOX WITH NO TEETH! YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS, YOU WILL CLEAVE TO THE ONE, AND RUN FROM THE OTHER! A PRESIDENT CANNOT SERVE, HIS CONSTITUTENTS AND MONEY TOO! EVEN AT TRUMP'S NEW YEARS EVE PARTY, FROM DUBAI, TRIED TO GET TRUMP, TO BUILD A SECOND GOLF COURSE, HAVING WORKED WITH TRUMP ON THE FIRST ONE, AND HE SAID, HE CAN, BUT HE IS NOT GOING TO, OR HE CAN'T, BUT, HE WON'T . . . AT LEAST THAT SHOWS GROWTH, MATURITY, AND TRYING TO COLOR WITHIN THE LAWS, ETHICS, AND AVOIDING "CONFLICTS OF INTERST" AND WHILE RUDY, WAS A FORMER, U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR NEW YORK, DOESN'T MEAN, HE CAN, OFF THE TOP OF HIS HEAD, SAY WHAT TRUMP CAN AND CAN'T DO! WE HAVE LAWS THAT DICTATE WHAT PRESIDENTS, DOWN TO THEIR STAFF CAN AND CAN'T DO! HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A SITUATION, THAT HAPPENED EARLY IN MY CAREER AS A UTAH ASSISTANT ATTORNEY GENERAL, THAT AT A GUT LEVEL AND FOR VERY OBVIOUS REASONS, I COULD NOT TAKE A PRIVATE CASE . . . HERE IS THE STORY . . . AND, WHILE TURNING THE CASE DOWN AT THE TIME, JUST TALKING TO THE POTENTIAL CLIENT, ALERTED ME, TO CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS, TO CORRUPTION, AND TO STRONG ARMING CITIZENS TO PARTICIPATE AGAINST THEIR WILLS, WITH THE DEA OR THE FEDERAL DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION, PROBABLY SETTING MY LIFE'S MISSION IN MOTION, A BIT DELAYED, BUT THERE! AND AS CHRIS MATTHEWS, SAYS, IN ONE OF HIS ADS FOR MSNBC, "MISSION ACCEPTED!" STILL AT IT . . . BUT, I THINK, EVEN THE MOST NAIVE, CAN SEE, WHAT A CONFLICT OF INTEREST IS AND WHY, GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, MUST AVOID SUCH ENTANGLEMENTS! IT LOOKS LIKE, TRUMP'S SON-IN-LAW, JARED, IS DEVESTING AND DISTANCING HIMSELF FROM HIS HOLDINGS AND INVESTMENTS, SO HE CAN SERVE . . . GREAT, WE NEED SMART, CAPABLE PEOPLE . . . ANTI-NEPOTISM LAWS, WILL PROHIBIT, SOME JOBS, BUT THERE ARE OTHERS, THAT A FAMILY MEMBER CAN HOLD, BUT I WOULD SUGGEST, YOU GET COUNSEL TO LOOK INTO WHAT YOU CAN AND CAN'T DO! LET'S DO IT RIGHT! AN ORGANIZATION IS ONLY AS GOOD AS IT'S LEADER! SET THE EXAMPLE, MR. TRUMP!

Conflict of Interest--Could Feel it in My GUT!

I can't remember, if I was informed, in my assistant attorney general orientation, being told, to do this or that, or you can't do this or that, all I remember, is dealing more with insurance issues, fingerprinting, and being given general instructions, of what it was like to work, in a government office, starting out of the law school chute, as general counsel, for the Utah Prosecution Counsel, in the Criminal Enforcement Division of the Utah Attorney Generals Office, which, landed me smack dab, in the middle of who's who, in the state of Utah, working on the council, with prosecutors, cop organizations, working with statewide lobby groups, who represented these groups, working with the governor's office, and the courts, on various projects--an amazing, introduction to the criminal justice world, up close and personal!  I think, I had only been on the job, a very short time, and my ex-husband, whom, I have always, been great friends with, called me about a man in his neighborhood, with kids, my kids hung out with, both in the hood and at church, who had a case, he thought, being an assistant attorney general, in addition, to, being staff attorney, for the Utah Prosecution Council, he could use the added credibility, kind of insiders, attorney, which this man, thought, would be to his advantage, and I was pretty, stupid, at the time, needed the money, being shocked by, having to pay back my law school loans, on the shitty, salary, I was getting paid, a lot of power, but no money, so, a gift from heaven, to ease the burden of my $500 a month, student loan payment!  GREAT!

Now, this man, first had me watch about 7 hours of news videos, of his burning chemical plant that was just down the road from my ex-husband's house, so, convenient, to my kids, whom were living with dad, solid income, friends with kids in common, so, family, stuff seemed okay.  But, this man, whom had a Ph.D. in chemistry, also had a huge ass chemical plant, about the size of a Costco, or Walmart, and a yard to store barrels of chemicals, on a lot that was, acres, had, in the past years worked with, the DEA or the Drug Enforcement Agency, so a federal agency, during the early years of drug interdiction programs . . . so, I was at a state level, so, that didn't really ring any bells, yet.  But, this man, used to, report, patrons of his chemical operation, who purchased, ingredients, that would make up, what could be seen as the recipe for meth.  But, eventually, and you can see, my mindset being formed, he decided that the DEA officers, were dirty, and more corrupt that the alleged, drug makers, or  meth dealers, he was, calling in, to the DEA, who would, wait under a freeway, viaduct, stop the buyers, and there are plenty of legitimate reasons to buy, these same ingredients, for cleaning, or other purposes, that were legitimate reasons to buy some of these particular ingredients, but, he was just there to alert the feds, and allow them the chance to stop the cars and customers, and question them, giving them, probable cause, due to the particular chemicals, bought at this man's chemical plant, to at least see what they were up to.

DEA STARTED STOPPING EVERYONE, TAKING THE CHEMICALS, WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE USED FOR METH, AND THEN, THEY WOULD GO BACK TO MY POTENTIAL CLIENT, AND DEMAND THE MONEY, IN RETURN FOR THE CHEMICALS, AND THEN, THEY WOULD POCKET THE MONEY . . . SO, IN ESSENSE, HE WAS LOSING MONEY, AND THE FEDS WERE MAKING MONEY, ON EVERYONE!  EVEN LEGITIMATE PURCHASES!E

Eventually, this man, very smart, very educated, told the DEA, he didn't want to play with them any more!  That did not go over well with these thugs, and they basically, told him, he would work with them, or it would be trouble for him.  He was a smart guy, and figured, this is a free country, I voluntarily, worked with you guys, helped you for years, and most likely, in some cases, stopped meth from going on the streets, so he, just stopped playing with the feds . . . which led to his demise and the end of his chemical plant.  One night, shortly after that, the mayor of Grapevine, a small community that surrounded the chemical plant, down by Utah Lake, in the Orem, Provo area, gave this good man, a call, in the middle of the night, and said, he saw someone, on the roof of his plant, that looked like they were, using an axe to chop wholes in the ceiling of the roof on his big ass building.  By the time he got to his plant the intruder was gone; however, later that same day, he got a call, from the local fire department, that there was a small chemical fire, on the floor of his chemical plant.  He raced to the plant, only to be threatened and blocked, by firefighters, who told the owner, if he crossed their caution signs, or tape, he would be arrested, and from what he could see, he said he could have put out the fire with a garden hose, let alone, having the whole fire department, standing around watching, and then, overhearing them, say . . . burn, baby burn!

This good family man, father of 9 kids, saw stunned, as, he was forced to watch his life's work, going down in flames, realizing that the call from the mayor, was the precursor to the fire, that was looking more and more, like it was set by the DEA, cutting holes in the roof, to facilitate, more air, to fuel the flames of the fire, that was, looking more and more, like arson, and pay back for refusing to work with the DEA anymore!  So, I sat and watched, as 7 hours of news coverage and the fire, went from a small, chemical fire, like he told me, could have been put out with a garden hose, turn, into, this huge ass fire that was allowed to run its course, with firefighters, standing by watching, and I am sure, at the direction of the federal cops, who were out tons of money, in their little scam, on the citizens and the owner of the chemical plant, who was losing business, along with the word, getting out, that he was a nark, and even legitimate purchases, were afraid, to go buy, from this man, who did all he could for years to help the feds, now, a target of their vengeance for them, not being able to make money fleecing him and his patrons, anymore!  The news clips, went from, an innocent man, being the victim of a small fire, going two weeks later, with an entirely different story, being, some loser, property owner, irresponsible in his management of all these dangerous chemicals, that were now burning out of control, polluting, the skies and air, over the entire community!  Eventually, some, neighbor had mercy on him and his family, and tried to help him, financially, suddenly, his work garage was burned to the ground too!  And you wonder where, I started forming, my idea of cops . . . later to have that substantiated, by the prosecutor and judges associations, making money, and fighting over the surcharge, added onto, incentives, to steal property, give tickets, and do whatever!

CONFLICT OVER SELLING CHEMICALS, THAT COULD BE, INGREDIENTS FOR METH!

I believe, this may have taken place, between the interim, of refusing to work with the DEA, and this incident at the legislature, that, may have been the confrontation, between, drug enforcement agencies and top cops, in Utah, all in favor of stopping the sell of any, legitimate or illegitimate chemicals, that made up meth!  Of course this man, with, many patrons. buying these same chemicals, for very legitimate reasons, now being stopped, taking a big cut of his business, with the new legislation, backed by cops!  So, at one point, this man, and men, whom, I was sitting in  meeting with, like the director of corrections, in the whole state of Utah, had a confrontation, that ended with these top cops, man-handling this man, up at the state Capitol, during the session, and embarrassing him, by having him, arrested, in front of everyone, in the rotunda of the Capitol Building!  This was ugly, wrong, an abuse of power, and violation of this man's civil and constitutional rights!  The birth of this bad ass con law chick's future, as an attorney, starting with legislation, that I killed, dealing with asset forfeiture, so I was primed, for this battle, with a unexpected, boiling point, reaching, a fever pitch, up at the Judicial Committee, on an assignment, to just sit in on a committee meeting, ending in, again, the formation of who I am now, with cop and prosecutors legislation, violating due process, property rights, and other constitutional provisions, that I then, without a conflict, but being called to the depths of my soul, putting my oath, to preserve, defend and protect the Constitution, for the first real time, coming into play!

But, after learning, who had arrested this man, and seeing who, I was sitting in meetings with, on various issues, as an assistant attorney general, working as staff attorney for the Prosecution Council, I would be suing, men, I was being introduced to!  Shit!  I was devastated, knowing that this man, had been wronged, to the millions, not only in property damage, but, in a character assassination, and trashed to the whole nation, showing footage of this huge ass, allegedly dangerous chemical fire, that was polluting the air and endangering the health of the citizens of his community . . . 20 years later, I was dragged through the mud, suffered, at least, if not more, loss, of income, homes, law practice with $700 million worth of cases all against the federal and state governments!  I understand, better, now, than, I ever could back then, but, I didn't need, to have someone tell me, nor do I think, that there were rule of ethics and professional responsibility, that came to mind, but, just the very people, whom, I was exposed to, in my job, all statewide leaders, and many of them, working with law enforcement, either as cops, or working in the same system, that, punished, drug users, would have been, putting me, right in the middle, of, a conflict, between, my job and my client, creating a huge ass mess, uglier than it already was, and leaving me, either compromised, personally, professionally, and with my soul, torn, between, a job, I loved, and a man, whom, had been wronged, beyond, anything, I can describe . . . until the government, did this to me, when, I stood up to these same entities, taking on, states, the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, ICE or Immigrations Customs Enforcement, state, local and federal cops and prosecutors, judges, and on and on!

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST, ARE REAL, THEY HIT YOU IN THE GUT, AND ONLY A FOOL, WOULD COMPROMISE, THEIR JOBS, THEIR MORALS, AND THEIR ETHICS . . . THEY ARE NOT HARD TO SEE, NOT HARD TO RECOGNIZE, AND THEY WILL JUMP YOU OUT, AND SMACK YOU ACROSS THE FACE, IF YOU DON'T AVOID THEM, CONGRESSIONAL ETHICS OR NOT . . . DON'T GO THERE, FOR YOUR OWN, SANITY!
