Cute Dad Comment On the Bus This Morning

Arthur, as in King, Arthur, is this massive, huge ass black guy, former football player and coach, a transplant from New York, now driving bus, everyone loves our bus drivers, all of them, on the Mountain Line, but Arthur, goes the extra mile, he tries to remember, every customers, name, and this morning he even introduced me to his new trainee, and I can't even remember, her name, several hours, later.  But, as he was instructing, the new driver, they had a long stretch of road, and she asked Arthur, about his family.  Now I know, he is married to a red-head, because we have discussed bad sun burns, and I know he has a new baby, so I have some background, but, his response to how many kids he had, was so guy, so, coach, so dad, LOL!  He said, he had a 3 year old, and the other guy, was just one month, and three days old! LOL! Who calls, his baby, that other guy?  LOL!  I was impressed, that he knew the actual month and day, his guy was old!  LOL!

My reaction, was much the same, when I heard my oldest daughter, Greta, refer to her husband as dude! LOL!  I was like, babe, honey, sweetheart, baby cheeks, but dude?  LOL!  Anyway, one of the really fun, things about riding the bus, all free, so it more like having a chauffeur, just sit back and leave the driving to us . . . but, I love to people watch, to study, couples, moms, dads, and lately, there have been a lot of dads, taking their kids on the bus, probably so they can interact, watch and control, three, pre-schoolers, without hassling with car seats, traffic and driving at the same time!  But, it is fun, admirable, and interesting to see the different, parenting, styles, more so for me, of men, the new generation of dads, because, I have a son, in that, category, and he cracks me up, in the way, he talks and looks at his darling daughter, who already has daddy, not only wrapped around his fingers, but, wondering what hit him, how, some little girl, could turn his very controlled, clean, sterile, perfect, world upside down!  LOL, he deserves this tornado, controlled, but a tornado all the same!  He wanted a little princess and he got a cowgirl, grandma's DNA, in that baby!  Keep up the good work dads, moms have been doing this for a long time, hard, but worth every second!  LOL!  Along this same lines, when people comment on how tall his now three year, who looks five, year old daughter is, with a mother, half Chris's size, so she has his genes, he just says, she is big, but beautiful! LOL!

I think with Hillary, and the pundits, noticed it, they said there seemed to be a switch, with the Democrats, commenting way more on God, Country and Families, that has been, considered, more traditionally a Republican thing, or perhaps, they just made us think that!  LOL!  As you will all recall, Hillary, wrote a book, called, It Takes A Village to Raise a Child!  And, man, is she RIGHT!  Thank all the church leaders, school teachers, neighbors, friends, crossing guards--my daughter aspired to be a crossing guard, when she was young, she loved the school crossing guard in kindergarten, coaches, girl and boy scout leaders, because, the more support a child gets, the healthier they are, the better life is for them, and as Hillary said, her mother was orphaned at age 14, abandoned, and because of the kindness of strangers, who took her in and helped continue the process of raising her, creating a woman, who possibly, has raised the first female president of the United States of America, so someone did a fucking good job!  But, you can see where this book came from, in addition to Hillary's dedication and commitment to kids, children, getting them health insurance, and other things necessary for a healthy and happy life . . . covering the things that matter!  
Healthy moms, healthy babies, strong dads, strong families, healthy choices, healthy futures! KISSES to ALL!  Family is the bedrock of society, we need to protect it!

DNC, Inclusive Atmosphere . . . Muslim Parents of a Fallen Soldier!

You gotta dig it when, a Muslim, who not only had a son, serving in the military, but, who, fell on the sword, so to say, for this country, we call AMERICA, who loved this country, so much, he was willing to die for it, but, I had to totally dig it, when the father, speaking, of his son's service and how much, he and his family loves America, the freedoms, the liberties, the rights, and the opportunities, challenged, Donald Trump, who would have banned this family from coming here, and missed, their contributions to this country, including their son's military service, to read the United States Constitution, and as he offered the challenge, he pulled a worn, copy of the document, in pocket sized form from his suit pocket, and I am crying right now, and said if you have not read it, I will lend you mine!  Now, that is someone who fucking loves his country, our country, while of a different religion, may speak and dress different, but, equally, if not more committed to what this country has to offer, him and his family, enough so, that he offered, his only begotten son!  I just have tears of gratitude for this man and his wife, I have all branches of the military represented in my immediate family, but, I never lost anyone, in the line of duty or battle, so thank, you for raising such a great son, and being the kind of parents, who taught there kids, sons, the precious virtues of this amazing and awesome country!  We are second to none, as V.P. Joe Biden said, and I can't agree more, now that is nationalism, and it looks NOTHING like, the KKK or white supremacists!  THANK YOU, for your inspiring remarks, and for your challenge, if you, as an American, have not read the U.S. Constitution, you are missing out, you are ignoring one of the greatest teacher of what and how this country is and how it works and runs!  READ IT!

Protester, Sit-In, Yelling, We are Peaceful, We Just Want All the Rights, Our Founding Fathers Gave Us in This . . . He Raises a Pocket Sized Copy of the U.S. Constitution and Fascinating Facts!

The song on, is James Brown, Living in America, one of the most fun, patriotic songs, rockin' and fun, focuses on all the great cities and things that make America great!  That is nationalism, putting America first! But, I can't tell, the Chief of Police from Orlando, this Muslim father and mother, and this young protester, just what, you raising that booklet, or that U.S. Constitution, in the air, means to this constitutional law attorney, bad ass con law chick, who has, felt, lone, beaten and battered, to protect, preserve and defend, that document, the basic tenants, principles, and concepts, contained in that inspired, priceless and precious document, and so worth fighting, foreign and domestic wars over!  If we fail to use it, we will lose it!  Every day, you vote, every thought you make, you vote, every word you speak, you vote, there rights came with a huge price, tons of bloodshed, and a war that spanned years.  I had four of my ancestors, fight in the Revolutionary War, one was a professor, brilliant and strategic, who, lied, said he was on sabbatical from the college he taught at, so he could go fight the war . . . this was not a popular war, and only about a third of the colonists agreed with the rebels, who were declaring, independence from British rule and the King, so, some fought on the sly.  I had another relative, who, lied about his age, to go fight!  I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and proud of it!  

My daughters, were both, asked to join the largest honor society in the world, the Golden Key, and the swearing in ceremony, was, in Constitutional Hall, the building, next to the White House.  The other day, I saw a book, entitled, I Was a Soldier, Too, and it had a picture of a young woman, in uniform, making me think of my two precious daughters, who both, not only served four years, but they, also, both re-upped, for special missions, in Washington, D.C., Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia!  Nicole, my sweet daughter who lives just outside D.C., as feminine as a girl can get, long blonde hair, thin, and dainty, actually, went through, SERE school, one of the toughest POW camp training, dropped from and aircraft, with a raft, to survive in it overnight, to be captured and tortured, in mock training, for linguist, if they should get captured . . . it was so bad, she has always, refused to give me any details of what she was put through, and came through in flying colors!  As a parent, I never really preached, much about the country; however, I did, take my kids, to every early morning, gun solute, military, oriented service, holiday, from Memorial Day, to 4th of July, to Veteran's Day, and, not even knowing they were watching, my kids, must have noticed, the tears, streaming down, my cheeks, as they are now, loving this country, and everything it stands for, silently, proudly, an American!  God Bless America!  I love it beyond words!  Keep in mind, we love the things we SERVE!  Keep that in mind as you VOTE!  Protect what you love!

OVERVIEW OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION

My favorite pocket sized copy, is, The U.S. Constitution and Fascinating Facts About It, in a short, 96, pocket sized pages, there are backgrounds and quotes from the signers of the Constitution, their party politics, their friends, and enemies, in the political battle, there are notes on the Constitutional Convention, landmark, Supreme Court Cases, the ruling or holding in the case, the Declaration of Independence, information on amendments, and history on that, an index, and dictionary, I used this in my law practice all the time!  I was thrilled when this young protester, raised a copy, when he was telling the cops, he was being peaceful, just like the first amendment, requirement for assembling, states, to address grievances with our government. Whomever, you were, you gave me the thrill of a lifetime, as did the cop and the parents, this has been a 23 year battle for me, fighting every day, it was not long ago, the Constitution, was almost considered extinct, old, worn out, out of date, and without much application to our daily lives in this century, and NOTHING could be further from the TRUTH!  

Anyone, who, talked, even back 10 years ago, about the Constitution was seen as either a liberal, ACLU, attorney from the 60's, or a John Bircher, a Society, even as far back as the 50's, who was trashed, when all they did was train people about the Constitution, and I have been a member of that organization too, one time I ran across on of their monthly magazines, the American, or something like that, only a member for a year, then started practicing law again, but someone left a stack of those magazines and torn out articles, at my friend's work, and she wondered if they were mine, since the material, contained in them, reminded her of some of the things that I talked about . . . I took them home and read, all the articles, underlined and scored, the pages, with stars and highlights and there was not ONE, thing I disagreed with, in that journal or magazine, yet, for years, I had heard the John Birch Society or the Federalist Societies, trashed, for promoting, preserving and defending, constitutional principles and rights, so, when these people, lately, including many speakers at the DNC, doing more than flag waving, and rah, rah, America, but really, getting into the founding fathers, like Cory Booker did, Hillary did, and others, I was like, the battle, the scars, the fight, the losses, the domestic war, was all worth these few minutes, of pleasure, going, WE MADE IT!  WE HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED, NOW LETS LET FREEDOM THRIVE!
