HELP FREE CYCLES ON FINAL FUNDRAISING STRETCH

We can't scream about global warming, climate change, or going green and stand by, personally and do fucking nothing.  Free Cycles, launched 20 years ago and continues to this day, providing bikes for people, to encourage everything from health, to safety, to freedom, to a green lifestyle, and with I believe it is, 2500 miles or so of paved cycle and running trails, around Missoula, Montana, this is truly, a great effort, and allowing people, freedom, even if they don't have a car, like me and tons of other people in Montana, whether from cop blowing up my car with a pipe bomb, or some getting DUI's, others lack of funds, but whatever the reason, I know, that many residents of the Pov., who is a partner, even providing a bike safety and resource training, I believe on Wednesday at the Pov., but, this altruistic  . . . of course the fucking NSA or the bitches and MO ass bastards, they give access to, daily turn off my spelling, so they can hack my work, intellecutal property, and steal my BLOG, DUMB ASS FUCKS!!!!!!!!  Anyway, back to my train of thought, oh, a great quote, so show the nature of the people and organizations behind this effort, to raise, the last, $135,000 to purchase their own, building and sight, that they have been renting, for 11 years, or something like that . . .

I know, that this makes the difference to many of the Poverello folks, between getting a job and not getting a job . . . this is where, citizens put their money where their mouths are, and help someone out of the rough patch they are in, helping the organizations, that are providing invaluable service, efforts and tools, to help overcome poverty and homelessness in Montana, every state, and the United States!  I know, many people who are housekeepers at hotels and motels, waitresses, cooks, janitors, and a bike is often the only means of transportation these people have to get to and from work.  The buses are great, free, however, they can only get you so far, then you are either on foot, or you need a bike, and bikes can cost, so when you don't have a dime in your pocket, a free bike, in exchange for community service, is an amazing help and break for these folks.  If you are NOT part of the SOLUTION, you are PART of the PROBLEM!  Missoula, is in so many ways, a model for other communities, of very smart solutions, to very practical problems.

• so far, $250,000 has been raised, but, I think they said the property costs one million, so if they raise, $385,000, then the banks will finance the rest of the money!  When you are a non-profit, giving away free stuff, banks, need some guarantees, that they will get their money, business!!!!  So, this is where we have to kick in, to provide the security for the bank to loan the rest.

PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF THE FREEDOM, POWER, AND JOY A BIKE CAN BRING . . .

I have had to go without a car or truck, twice, now in my life, since I was 16 years old, and got my driver's license: (1) when I was diagnosed with a terminal brain disease, no cure, no chance of working, etc., and now; (2) having had my truck stolen by the sheriffs in Iron County, Utah, illegally, unconstitutionally, criminally, to stop me from leaving the state and going to Montana, so they could kill me, and when the cops, mob, Mormon mafia, family mafia, or whomever, blew up my car with a pipe bomb and put it on the Internet that I died in a car accident, stopping me, not only from getting my ID, but from purchasing a new or used car, so the transportation, methods I have at my disposal, are buses, trains, shuttles, airplanes, and BIKES!  Back, in 2000 when I voluntarily gave up my driving privileges, due to the fact that I was afraid, I would die at the wheel of my car, and take someone else to Hell with me, getting even myself, in more trouble than, I already have . . . thanks to Jesus, I don't need to go there anymore!  LOL!  But, my niece had a cheap Walmart bike, that she let me use, and, I learned the absolute JOY, and freedom, just that small luxury can provide to someone stuck without wheels and other means of transportation.

Luckily, I lived in Logan, Utah, who long ago, provided free bus transportation, so I was able to ride my bike as long as I wanted to, then I could, put my bike on the front end of the bus, and head, wherever I wanted to go in the county!  I remember, the first time, I was able to get to a movie, that would not be done, early enough for me to take the bus home, I just loaded my bike onto the front of the bus, locked it up at the movie show, and afterwards, was free to ride home, on my bike . . . I remember, liking the freedom and the feel of the summer breeze in my hair, that when I got home, I didn't want to stay home, but, took off again, down to ride a few circles around the school parking lot and the church parking lot, before, finally getting my feel of the wonderful, fun and freedom, which is what it is all about to me!  My oldest son, Chris, used to ride his bike, every day to work, and he loved it . . . then he got lazy, he said, and regrets the healthy, independent free feeling, of self-sufficiency, he loved when he was commuting several miles a day, and wishes that he didn't change his patterns, but now he has a wife and baby, so, things do change.  Elliot, my youngest son, probably the GREENEST of the Secrist fabulous four, rides his bike all the time, hitching a ride on Tracs, the electric train, or bus system, and he gets all over the place.  Elliot, bass guitarist, vocalist, and guitarist for, about 5 bands over the years, has found a way to slam that whiskey and get home without getting a DUI, and that is riding his BIKE!  MONTANA . . . we have issues with alcohol . . . the most hung over towns, 3 of the top 10!!!!!  SOLUTIONS!

Me and my husband, had bikes, carriages to pull babies in, and we have LONG enjoyed the JOY and FREEDOM a bike can provide.  The father of my four children, rode his bike to work, as a CITY PLANNER, every day, so he was a GREAT EXAMPLE to his children, of alternate ways of getting to work!  

IT IS JUST AS EASY AS RIDING A BIKE!  OPEN YOUR WALLETS FOR THIS GREAT EFFORT!

PROVIDE SOME JOY TO SOMEONE ELSE . . . THERE WAS NOTHING SO SWEET, AS FEELING THE SUMMER BREEZE IN MY HAIR, RIDING MY BIKE!!!!!!

P.S., think you are too cool to ride a bike?  All the hot construction workers, who ride the early buses, bring their bikes, ride as far as they can on the bus, then hit their bikes, the rest of the way to work.  I was thinking, BMC Construction ought to have a male pin-up poster calendar!  LOL!

I just went from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, to McDonald's, and while I am listening to President Hillary Clinton and her V.P., Elizabeth Warren, as they fight for the real POPULOUS and the little guy worker, and I noticed the place mat, from McD's, Investing in Education; Furthering Your Education: ARCHWAYS to OPPORTUNITY, free English classes, earn your high school degree, free to eligible employees; college tuition for eligible employees, apply for McDonald's management courses for college credits, discounted tuition, college tuition discounts at selected colleges, and free education advising, free for eligible employees of participating owners/operators.  This is the type of stuff employers, businesses, need to start doing . . . when we have a thriving MIDDLE CLASS, America PROSPERS!!!!!!  There are reasons, that some companies thrive and survive, and why others don't . . . as First Lady, Michelle Obama said, recently in a graduation ceremony, said, when you make it, turn around and help the person coming up behind you!  Fast food restaurants, have developed skills in workers, that have made them successful later in life!  Don't be too good to flip a burger!

There are ways to get through college . . . both of my beautiful daughters, joined the military.  Look around you, when there is a will, there is a way!
