Rationality, Has Returned to the U.S.A.
Forty three people, who were quarantined, made it the 21 days, sequestered from the rest of society, with NONE, actually developed the Ebola virus or any symptoms, which is amazing news! It is proving to be harder to contact the disease, than originally thought, great news, at least to the portion of the population, that never freaked out, screamed that ISIS would purposefully inflict themselves with the contagious disease, and then storm our borders, in an act of terror . . . so, to most of us, this is absolutely wonderful news, but to the dooms day, sky is falling, end of the world, create something out of nothing for political reasons, it must be a horribly depressing day, that we, as a species are actually going to survive the Ebola virus, and more people didn't die, tipping the scales to those who wanted the travel banned from Africa, inadvertently, trashing our black president, is it a transfer of anger, leading up to the elections.
It is reprehensible, for Republicans and others, to overreact, make suggestions, that terrorists, might do something, that, they may or may not have thought of, but we, as a country, do not need to plant the seeds of terrorism, ISIS and other terrorists, are plenty capable of coming up with acts of terror, without politicizing Ebola, seemly wanting larger numbers of people dead, wow . . . you have a social responsible duty, to listen to the doctors, stop saying we need to appoint a czar, then complaining when there is a health care czar, with the skills to orchestrate the many emergency agencies, on a local, state and national level . . . the czar needs leaderships skills, not doctor skills. Klain, is not going to be in the hospital handling those exposed to the virus; he is going to be coordinating the efforts, communicating with all concerned, listening to doctors, and passing information on to the President. Fear mongering is ineffective, and totally out of order!
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, 81, Up! All! Night! Dissenting Ruling
Is it any wonder, certain people are appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court; Ms. Ginsberg, with more energy and intellect at age 81, staying up all night, Friday night, writing the dissent, to the male majority, in a Texas voting rights case, that would discriminate against many minorities, with Justice Ruth, being joined, by none other than the other two female members of the high court! No surprises there, it takes on to know one, that is a senior citizen, without the means of Ginsberg, but with her relating to many people in huge numbers are going to be kept from voting, on election day, due to state Republican legislatures, doing all they can to undermine the Voter's Rights Act, which, is unconstitutional in and of itself. The plain language of the Act, I would guess is doing everything to facilitate voting, for all Americans, even those, who may not have a current driver's license, a car, gas money, etc. Which tends to end up denying more people who traditionally vote for Democrats, over Republicans.
Like I said, in the blog, I would advise people, if the female candidate is at all viable, and worthy of a vote, to try to feminize Congress, with a more representative demographically accurate mirror of the American public. As you will see, and in a microcosmic demonstration, of exactly what I am talking about, with only three women appointees on the 9 member, star chamber, minorities, women, issues that affect those who's rights are being suppressed, and trampled on, with just not enough alleged minorities on the bench, as if women should still be considered a minority, with the majority of women, outnumbering men, at least by several percentage points, they, can never, never, never, carry the majority, on some of these issues!
In a perfect world, one that is more concerned about protecting rights, regardless of social status, or part of a minority, it should not matter, whether their are enough women, blacks, Hispanics or other minorities, to trump a majority of white upper class males, or just males, with Justice Thomas, being a pivotal member, as both a male, and a member of a minority. There should not be discriminatory rulings, ever, with a total vision of protecting the constitutional rights, freedoms, and liberties, regardless of anything else coming into play, that is America at its best . . . but, until we reach that level of fairness, sophistication, and equality, we need more women, in Congress and on the U.S. Supreme Court! A dissent was not necessary, because the Court was not, ruling on the constitutionality of the voter suppression, but trying to get something by way of a holding of some type, because the voting was being done by today, Monday, October, what 19, 2014 . . . but, she was so upset by the effect of the ruling or lack thereof, that this feisty 81 year old pistol, not bothered at all by the night, lack of sleep, just did what these justices do best, and kicks out a scathing dissent, without even a majority opinion in writing, to directly respond to, she just responded to the final briefs of the attorneys, it sounds like. Who said, Octogenarians, can't kick ass, as Ginsberg did, Thanks!
Monica, Monica, Monica, Enough
Your actions, at 22 years old, when you, as you put it, fell in love with your boss, who happened to be the fucking President of the United States! You act as if you couldn't do anything about this mad crush you had on this guy, that you had no morals, no brains, no understanding that this may hurt, not only your career, but the President's, and I am not excusing him, but at two year affair, not to mention, what it would do to Hillary Clinton, the embarrassment, the press, the, what you call, the fact that you were the first, social media victim, waking up with your face all over the news, on the web, and on TV . . . what the fucking hell did you expect? You obviously had something going for you, besides, tits and ass, by way of brains, must have had good grades in college, or honors and awards, that would constitute the level of interns, that would be chosen to work at the seat of power, back in Washington, D.C.
I suspect, that it may not be, just love that drove you then, or drives you now, but notoriety, fame, money, a new book, or whatever, but you are embarrassing all women, by your somehow, ignorant, victim mentality, that you were so twitter patted, that you were completely incapable of rejecting Bill's advances, you couldn't have been moved, or talked to someone, or simply quit your internship? You have a master's degree or an advanced education, and you can't be hired for a job? This was, 16 years ago, so, I would bet that there are many people who wouldn't even know who you are, but for you continuing to show up on TV, crying in your soup. I can guarantee that I have not thought of you, your name, your relationship with the President, or anything . . . you are not a pimple on the butt of the universe to anyone, like you were not, other than being used as political fodder against the President, by his political enemies.
I, bitch and moan, more than I think I should, but, as of writing this blog, right here, right now, my computer cursor was frozen, with two of my blogs, being deleted, just this week, or sections of them. If I was left alone, and there were not forces, relentlessly, constantly, riding my ass, the reader would never, never, never hear from me, in spite of the money, the cases, the music of my son's, the credit, my manuals, even then, I have let things go, over and over and over again, until they fuck with me again! Over all, I am a happy person, with life, being pretty sunny, most of the time, with this one line of defense, one avenue of freedom, of speech, and I go ape shit, when they take the one thing that I can actually use my education, regardless of pay, or anyone really knowing who I am, just the fact that I get to speak, and there are people listening to me. I don't care about getting credit for my writings, but I sure as hell, are not going to let the people torturing me, stopping me, and causing me all this angst, not only get the credit, but the money, whatever fame, and then still claiming that even my children and grandchildren, are not mine, they are like the fucking Ebola virus, killing everything in their paths!
You are in the prime of your life, beautiful, smart, educated, and everything you need to survive in America, even negative press, is good press, use the fact that you have name recognition and start your own business, consult young women, educating them on keeping a check on your emotions, warning them not to hurt their own futures. You can only love someone else, as much as you love yourself, teach young women, share your experience, with female interns who can learn from your mistakes. Like my mother always said, experience is a great teacher, but it is a FOOL who learns by nothing else! Help young women, control their hearts, their minds, their passions, and thus, protecting your or their futures, you have it all, USE IT!
